He was only a racist when you brought your political beliefs into the mix. You said you both had amazing chemistry and this could of been a great thing. So appreciating your zeal for Obama and not being for or against the man, you basically threw away a possibly great relationship for a man who you will never have a relationship with nor will he be there or care if yor alive or dead tomorrow, just because he is president. EVERY politician, especially the higher the ladder you go, shows they are NOT who they pitched when getting elected. But this is not about that, it is about racism which from what you tell me is what ended the relationship. We all are different, THAT is where a person knows if they are ready for a real relationship, any relationship, because it is a give and take deal, not a "he has to like everything the same as I do" deal. After all, you dont know if there were things he did not like about you and kept his mouth shut to give the relationship a chance.

I don't agree that most white people are racist. I just have no desire to put up with those who try to justify racism at all.

I'm still not sure how white people that don't even know that they are racist can be trying to justify something that they don't even know that they are doing. It's late and maybe I missed something but can somebody explain to me exactly how this guy was being racist please because I'm not an American?

I don't think they don't know what they're doing. People like to use the excuse of freedom of speech, which is fine, but it doesn't make a racist comment, or a racial slur any less racist.

But the argument is that the guy was not actually attacking the president for being black but he was nevertheless being racist and I'm not sure that I understand that. It seems like saying that someone that hated Margaret Thatcher was sexist.

Well long story short, we finally friend each other on facebook and guess what he posts? One of those lists from the white racists about the president. You know the one about his having applied for school as a foreign student and two social security numbers, etc....

It comes down to when you are dealing with a white person who may not know they are racist, it makes things difficult.

He still doesn't have a clue I am sure because I am sure he can't see his own racism. He was raised to believe it wasn't racist. His friends tell him it isn't racist, they are all white of course. He doesn't know how not to be a white racist because that is all he knows. I don't dislike him but I just can't allow that in my life.

Another reason is because he ran on a campaign of transparency and change however, he spent millions sealing his school records, it does make one wonder "why".

He has done nothing to actually improve the country, Obamacare starts fining people for not having health insurance one year before the government is required to have any alternative solutions, i don't like the policy of pay first, fix it later, but that seems to be what this presidency is about. Some things i think in Obamacare are good, however, there are many parts of it I disagree with.

I don't like bills being passed such as CISPA being passed during the uproar of the boston bombings,
