I may need to put it in my beautiful things thread :) that is Lennon & McCartney isn't it??? |

I saw them live, on Ed Sullivan, 1964, it was a
performance that blew away the audience. I had heard of them, these 'long-haired' boys, that was all people talked abut, their hair, and that they could finally be seen on Ed Sullivan. So a group of friends talked me into going to someone's house and watching them. I will remember it always. Surreal. Unbelievable. Permanently scored on the brain. Hell to the yeah they were/are great :-) |

Yeah, they were okay. Indeed their music is timeless. But then again, who plays it anymore? Kind of like Abba, also great music, timeless, but you just never play it. Hardly ever.

Oh come on! What about the Chili Peppers? Rage against the Machine? Muse? Okay The Who was bl*ddy awesome! Give you that |
