What drove me to online dating?
Well, my social circle isn't a circle at at all. I only really deal with my immediate family (who tend to know people I don't like) and a couple of friends I don't see very often, and colleagues I have no interest in. So... I'm really 'here' to expand that group. To meet interesting people I want in my life and, who knows what may happen from there. It's no fun having few people who you can argue over what film to watch... |

Any beautiful ladies under 30yrs? (: NO. We're all monsters, I assure you. I believe Bridget Jones put it best when she said under our clothes we're all covered in scales. Or something to that effect. |

I drove here in my Ford Transit work van, with Rigger boots, tool belt, a kilt and a cool breeze hitting my bare arse cheeks! Whoo - hoo, glad I did too!

Why am I on a dating site? In my opinion it is the dating media of the future, in the past people use to join local single groups or advertise in the newspaper (mail order brides) but now we have the internet.
In 2010 I injured my back and was limited in what I could do so I signed onto a couple of free dating sites to stay connected to the world. I didn't want to date (wasn't able to) but I was still interested in people. After I recovered, I dated guys I had met online but was shocked at the lack of respect men had for women, it was almost like they were picking up a women of the night off the street. Most guys never got beyond a couple of phone calls. I have met a couple of guys who were respectful and great company but don't see anything more in our future than being good friends. Now for the rest of my story, in August 2012, I was in an auto accident and crushed my right heel, unbelievable, once more I found myself flat on my back with my leg elevated. So I still find people and their comments of interest, especially the forums. I use to read the profiles but very few anymore they all read the same. |

its really just a social site for me, when I joined I had just been laid off of my job of three years and my second marriage had just ended,,,
I was on the computer a lot anyhow with job searching and researching information,, thought this would be a cool way to replace that communication and possibly network and learn information as well |

I REALLY thought, if I could read a guy's profile and he read mine then we could eliminate all the crazy getting to know you... Where you from?... How old are you? ...Got any kids?
Then we could jump straight to us... I like what you like.. I don't like that but we can discuss why you do? And We are already attracted to each other because we see the CURRENT pictures! Geez.. Was I wrong I WANT MY MONEY BACK! oh yeah.. this is a free site Oh, well then I've got my money's worth |
