The suggestion that Zimmerman could have aimed for the leg and not the heart out of the goodness of his heart, was a bad one. If he was being beaten I doubt if he was having compassionate thoughts about his attacker, but shooting him in the leg may just have pissed him off and caused more adrenalin to flow. I know a few men who, if they were attacking me, I know that if I shoot them I better make it count because a wounded animal is sometimes more dangerous. When you fear for your life, shoot to kill.

Regardless of the outcome of the trial, Zimmerman's social fate will be as Juan Williams describes: "His identity will always be as a want-to-be cop who trailed a black kid who was not doing anything wrong, got in a fight with him, pulled out a gun and killed him."

Word is that the Obama administration has the fix in for a guilty verdict. Probably. They don't want to encourage these so called "gun nuts" who mistakenly believe that we have a "right to bear arms" and a right to use them if necessary. Apparently only cops and swat teams are allowed.

The pros who testified all concur the man acted in self-defense. IMO, one shot would be delivered to get said thug off. Two or more would be aiming to plenty of 'pros' only testified to facts,...whether it was self defense is not a fact, its a determination for the jury

We are going to court and charging you with second degree murder, then when we realize that we are going to probably not win a conviction we now want the judge to grant the option of the jury to consider convicting you of manslaughter or child abuse.. Maybe they can get him for talking on the cell phone while walking.. Im guessing not, since aggravated assault was not approved but lesser charges work that way, and manslaughter will be included,,, so,you propose to keep on trying the Guy under various Charges,until you arrive at the one who will convict him? Holy Moly! no, he is not being TRIED under various charges, he was charged with a crime that includes lesser crimes,,,, its not difficult,,, A lesser included offense shares some, but not all, of the elements of a greater criminal offense. Therefore, the greater offense cannot be committed without also committing the lesser offense. For example, Manslaughter is a lesser included offense of murder, assault is a lesser included offense of rape, and unlawful entry is a lesser included offense of Burglary. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Lesser+Included+Offense so,you say let's keep on trying him,sooner or later something will stick? I doubt that your take on that Legalistic stuff is even correct! It would fly into the face of US Justice! What you are proposing has been done in the Soviet-Sphere of Influence and in the Third Reich! That is not Justice,but rolling Dice with the "Crimes" on their Faces,and whichever comes up,bang,Guilty! To make it more interesting leave some Faces blank,so you'll get a free Roll of the Dice! no,, the TRIAL IS DONE,, noone is talking about trying him in the criminal court again, ,that would be double jeopardy the charges in question are relevant to THIS Trial,, just one Trial,, period,,,

If some six foot tall guy was beating my head against the side walk and I had a gun, I think the only logical thing to do would be to use it. Otherwise, why even carry a gun? thats a big if,,, and the victim was 5 foot 11 / 158 pound teen teen,, ,not exactly a six foot tall guy,,,

Zimmerman should get a lesser charge than manslaughter, but he should get at least 30 years. Thirty years for (not-quite)-Manslaughter? Yes, Zimmerman had the gun and he could have aimed for a leg not the heart. yep,for the Leg,especially for the Leg,since the Guy was on top of him,pummeling away! That Leg was at the Other End! all the Eyerolling won't change the fact,that it would have be impossible for Zimmermann to shoot Trayon into the Leg,owing to the relative position they were to each other! Well,maybe someone without any Firearmstraining might have accomplished that virtually impossible feat! would have been difficult to get the gun at all if most of what he originally said was true,, about where the gun was and how he was pinned down,,,

This BS trial is only about race and politics. If dead thug had been white we'd never hear about it. Nobody here heard anything about my friend slicing and dicing his wife last year. It was no big production when 6 ferals gang-rapes a young teen. Yeah, she lives but, they injured for life. Question the motive behind all the media and Hussein's comments.
