Zee, nevermind... gotta love Wikipedia and Google. My son WAS WRONG.... I can soak this for a while now I told him you would know because YOU'RE CANADIAN Oh and Zee, You actually trust me to make my own drink here I see you found your own answer.. and just to confirm (from a real Quebecer IN Canada) he is WRONG! we've always celebrated St. Jean Baptiste on the 24th of June.. at least as far back as I can recall.. but it's ONLY a holiday in the province of Quebec.. no where else in Canada (that I know of.. unless there are french 'settlements' in other areas that choose to remember the day)! and I agree.. you should soak this for a VERY long time.. it's not EVERYday we can prove our kids wrong to the point of rubbin' it in.. as for the drinks.. the bottles have special pouring tips on them that only allows 1 oz at a time.. so as long as you pour only once.. you should be able to walk outta here on your own steam!! |

Hey Zee: That narrows it down for me on the calendar. See the last time I was in Quebec was the weekend they celebrated that in the year "2000" We went to the upper park (Near the Chatteau Hotel). The most amusing thing I remember: Some college aged kids carrying a sofa up there to sit on. But hey, they had the best seat of the house right? Only once You did mean, once for each hand right

wow.. it's only Tuesday?? why does it feel like Wednesday night then??
I know cuz I was finished working (and supposedly on holidays HA) when I gets an email asking if I could "help" another in distress.. how COULD I say NO.. I was tempted mind you but.. with an unscheduled (kinda forced) vaycay at hand (for probably the next.. hmm.. 2 weeks???) I figure I best bale hay while the sun shined.. (however that CAN be a scratchy and somewhat sweaty job) so thus begins my illustrious vacation.. with searing heat.. armies of mosquito's and intermittent severe thunder storms.. how exCITING.. *sighs* hey.. anyone wanna play cribbage?? |
