not that it really matters when yer on holidays huh EVERY day is Flyday
there's a torrential rain fall happenin at the moment here.. OMG..  the POOL IS FLOODED

it's Friday.. oh.. yay..
so.. I met up with my accountant.. and it's not good news
I'm feelin a lil like I'm living in Nottingham and the Quebec government is the Sheriff..  seems the pool I bought them LAST year wasn't enough.. NOW I have to pay for the hot tub, gazebo AND their new deck!!!  just SHOOT ME now.....

actually.. I'm pretty happy with me day!!
one of my lil furry backyard friends broke a leg and was caught up a tree (running from the coons last night) it only had the shed roof tops to rest on.. knowing it wouldn't come to me when I called (feral cats are not very trusting).. I had to find another solution so the poor thing wouldn't starve.. leaning up against one of the sheds was some 4" x 2" x 5' boards, taken from the old deck, that were still in good shape.. so I took out all the nails from 5 of them and build a long, narrow stair of 8.5'.. I added a dozen steps and put a dob of cat food on the 3 topmost stairs and VOILA.. the lil furry managed to make its way back to the ground to family, food & water!! 
yup.. I'm pretty happy with me day!!
