I knocked on the door
You answered
We sat awhile talking
Learning each other
Something was building
Something great
We said good night
Talk to you tomorrow
Then a week went by
Then another
Two more weeks went by
A month gone by
And another month
No word, no communication
Left here sitting and wondering
Where did you go
Why did you leave
Many tears fell
I waited and waited
Cried for days
Now I sit and wonder
What the point of it all was
I still miss you
But I know I have to move on
What was just wasn't meant to be
So now I walk along
Sitting upon my cloud now and then
Waiting and searching
For the next journey I am to take
