There are bills being drawn up that will require private businesses to hire and change their businesses to suit homosexers.

If they refuse, they will be forced to close. Heard a little something about that on a Christian radio station.

I don't agree with forcing anyone to change their business practices. Just as I don't agree with forcing churches to marry same sex couples. There are businesses and churches out there who will be happy to handle same sex couples' business and marriages.

I am curious to know what changes you're talking about, though.

I cant understand what change would need to be made,, besides maybe where it came to spousal benefits, functions,,etc,,,

business is not where we have sex, so what would sexual preference have to do with our business environment,,,

Yeh that sounds a bit outrageous to me.

How can the government force a business to close?

Business is business. It will happen with or without the government.

Yes. "The government" has no right to force things like that. Its absurd. All they can do is fine you for not complying, or withold government funds etc.

If you expect the government to take care of you and solve all your problems, then you can also expect them to lay down some laws and rules they expect you to follow.

In order to get the government out of your life, you have to stop expecting them to take care of you and protect you from whatever.

Govern yourselves. One day, with common sense, we will no longer need someone to govern us.

No government.

  Oh happy day.

Here is a run down of the bill.

http://traditionalvalues.org/content/article/30691/Employment%20Non-Discrimination%20Act%20%28ENDA%29:%20Threatens%20Christians%20&%20Business%20Owners

ENDA is designed to get homosexuals, bisexuals, cross-dressers, and transsexuals added to the list of federally-protected minorities. If this is accomplished, the LGBT agenda will be imposed on businesses, local, state and federal governments, including public schools, Christian day care centers and camps, plus many other Christian entities, including religious broadcasters, etc. It will affect any business with more than 15 employees.

in nevada, transsexuals and crossdressers are already a federally protected minority, when I worked in government office I had to attend a seminar on it,,,

if a man wants to wear a dress to work,, better watch out before saying anything or taking any action,,,,which I think is quite ridiculous

people may have a case about not being able to choose their sexual preference, but we still choose our clothes,,,lol

I think it would be awesome to have a cross dressing secretary or flaming gay person working in a lawyers office or art gallery. Gay in in style these days.

Everyone loved this guy:

You don't know a lot about the art of female impersonators. Some women could learn a lot about how to look sexy and feminine from those men.

why is it an issue what they choose to wear though? beyond your own sensibilities being offended (which isn't a reason to be able to tell them they can't do it), how is it harming you directly?

it 'harms' me as much as someone working and using vulgarity does,, that is to say not at all physically

but I also find it not unreasonable for people to be asked to refrain from that behavior while on the job,,,,
