Whether you are consciously trying or not, what kinds of examples do you believe you set for those who see you in your daily life?

Considering that I spend the majority of my time by myself (I did the math, and its 99.1%), I'd have to say I set a horrible example for the voices in my head. I'm lucky that they don't revolt against me.

I have always tried to set a positive example especially for my kids. My youngest is now 19 and none of them have ever seen their mom drunk, or using drugs, or stealing. I very rarely cuss, and i try my best to be a genuine person who would not say some thing about a person that I was not willing to say to their face.

Hard to tell the examples I set for others. All I can say is complete strangers and friends alike share deep, personal stories of their lives with me all the time in RLife. Not so much online. So I guess I project compassion and discretion?

The examples I set for myself are mostly when no one is looking.

Yes, two of the three like to write. My son is more into writing rap lyrics but my oldest daughter is an amazing writer of stories, songs, and poems. :)

I am just like any normal ordinary person

I am a firm believer in making a good first impression. I don't drink, smoke or have any plans on being on prescription drugs. I avoid caffeine. I don't gamble. I avoid getting tattoos or piercings. I avoid fast food for the most part and keep my body in good condition.

I write, Web Design, and have done some volunteer work.

I believe most people who contribute anything to society should be respected for setting a good example.

I love your answer Andrew!

That's more along the lines of what I'm looking for...everyday kind of example making. I know everyone here so far, despite what they may say, exhibit good or bad examples in how they live their lives.

I'm not expecting Gandhi to come back for this.
