I like to think that I have taught them many good example so they can become fine young men. I have always taught them Never to make fun of anyone and IF you see someone who is making fun of someone, help them out and don't join in on it!
You can fall in love with anyone no matter what colour they are. Love has no colour.
Never trust anyone except your family because today's society has gone absolutely mad. Never pick up anyone on the road wanting a ride, unless you know me.
ALWAYS show respect to your elders. If you are out and see someone putting groceries away, you ask them if they need help.
I have never had alcohol or drugs in my home.
I do not bring home men to my home.
IF A GIRL IS GOOD ENOUGH TO SLEEP WITH, THEN SHE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO BE THE MOTHER OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!!
There is a lot more but I won't bore you

Whether you are consciously trying or not, what kinds of examples do you believe you set for those who see you in your daily life?

I demonstrate beyond the shadow of a doubt that I'm somebody who can have whoever I want.

I made sure my son did NOT need to walk the paths, I was forced to walk. Gave him the opportunities of a different/better life. I am proud of the paths I have chosen & PROUDER to see the choices my son has chosen. I tell him OPENLY, He is a better man than I, at the same age. Think the examples I set, were just fine.

Personally, I don't find anything you've said so far the least bit boring Unsure. I like your views; and knowing that there are others passing those values on so others know there is another way to live than in the detached, self absorbed, instant gratification manner that too many do nowadays. flowerforyou

IMO, it's the best example of all to demonstrate our ability to overcome bad examples. You've taught your children without a doubt, they can rise above anything.

I honestly don't know. If I do leave an impression on anyone, then they are keeping it silent from me. My younger sisters tell me they love me from time to time, in the same way a child would say it to their parent, if that's an impression at all.

I don't think I set any sort of example.

I just get up each day and be myself and do my thing. Those who know me and respect me appreciate that, and those who don't can sod off.

Although I was surprised to learn the other day some of my employees find me menacing. I found this strangely bizarre considering I am pretty friendly and easy going. I tend to be hard working and try to lead by example, but most of them are just lazy slobs.

The best example you can ever set, Is your own individuality. The day you decide you need to change yourself over consciousness in regards to what other people think of you. Is the day you kill the beauty that is you, and substitute it with the boring predictability that is everyone else.

It depends on who is watching i suppose, i am very caring and lOving from what i have been told but at work i am also kind of anal when it comes to medical details. Mostly i am a whole plugger and a mail carrier for example: i tend to want to fix things, i am also super dependable.
