Annette Funicello the Mouseketeer who starred in the Mickey Mouse Club in the 1950's passed away today at the age of 70 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She announced to the world in 1992 about her illness . She starred in movies in the 1960's with Frankie Avalon movies such as "Beach Blanket Bingo" and "Bikini Beach" THE WORLD HAS LOST ANOTHER LEGEND!!!

I can't tell you how many time I donned the mouse ears to watch her on the Mickey Mouse Club. (We could only afford one pair, so my older sister always got to wear them and I had to wear my Mother's old black bra on my head.) RIP darlin'.

bobby i still belive hes alive he was a tap dancer on lawerene welk show and he still had that baby face

RIP The first time I remember seeing her was in the original The Shaggy Dog. Wow! That was back some time ago. I didn't watch it when it was originally released, but at the drive in during a re release in the 70's.

I had such a crush on her as a kid!! AND Bless Jonathon Winters too I grew up with him and he gave me my warped sense of Humor!!
