Once you shave and keep it shaven, you won't let it get "stubbly"...always use a new razor and you won't have to worry about razor burn either. I use conditioner when i shave instead of shave cream or soap...it conditions my skin, makes the hair i'm removing soft, so i don't ever get burn.

I've been shaving since i was about 25 (i'm 38 now)..trimmed before then...once i got used to completely shaven...i won't let it ever grow back !

I would have to say I think it is totally up to the woman, some women have very sensitive skin. One thing though...if you are going to be wearing a swimsuit, trim at the very least, you don't want to look like you have Don King in a headlock down there!!!
