The OP's question is one that has been discussed forever. In reality, many women are attracted to men for all the wrong reasons and honesty isn't usually one of them. By the time they find out that the same lies that attracted them are being used to attract other women, bitterness and a lack of trust make the honest guy's job much harder. (a whole book could be written about this aspect alone!)

The fact is, "tall and good looking" will probably beat out "loving, loyal, and dependable" every time ... at least in the beginning.

It is hard for a women to look into a man's heart when she is looking up into those hungry eyes.

agree. the same can be said for the guys who go for one Barbie Doll after another till they realize they are looking at the outside only....since men are so visual I tend to think perhaps it happens to them even more often. I have heard of men spending life savings....and she's gone whe nthe kitty is empty....etc. OR a few years later he's asking himself when she will grow up or stop being so tempra"mental" and really they were just never compatible to begin with

Sometimes the Barbie Doll is also a great gal, sometimes tall and handsome is a great guy as well. nothing wrong with beautiful people but we need to learn, men & women alike to look on the inside and do a much better job of it. Then the next guy/gal won't have it so hard :)

It's not always easy being a "Barbie Doll" as a woman because WE KNOW that men are looking our way mostly for all the wrong reasons...I was a trophy wife for years.....never again.
