*scratches her head in complete confusion*
Are you asking why your male contemporaries (your profile does say that you are a male) seem to be threatened by intelligent women while you are not or are you asking because you are also threatened by intelligent females and you are seeking clarity for your gender regarding this issue? |

Another subject aiming for gender blame. This gets old. No, I don't believe ALL men are threatened by a womans intelligence. Are you just saying that because it's how you feel?

Iv been unable 2 find a man whos not threatened by a woman's intelligence! Wats ya tek ? Isn't the expression "a woman's intelligence" a bit of an oxymoron. Here come the rocks again. Gee, can't you women take a joke? [Dodo_David runs away] |

Some men may not want an intelligent woman.

Psh... I know intelligence is not required. If you are intelligent, you will dry up waiting for him to care.

I'm not threatened by intelligent women but a lot of "intelligent" women are just snooty and full of themselves and I don't really find that atractive.

My take is that I wasn't intimidated by my intelligent teachers growing up. I learned a lot from them. But then I started dating a home-schooler teacher. Her son and me got along real good as we had something in common to talk about.

Iv been unable 2 find a man whos not threatened by a woman's intelligence! Wats ya tek ? I'm confused too.. are you looking for a man who is unafraid of intelligent women... or are you looking for unintelligent women? are you spending more time talking to men about what they don't like in women, rather than looking for a woman to connect with? is there a poll being taken... just asking for clarity... |

I don't think I've ever dated a woman of what I'd call low intelligence. But, I do agree with what TawtStrat said about smart women acting "snooty." Sometimes intelligent women don't know when they actually could use a little help and woe be to the man that offers his unsolicited advice.

It doesn't matter. If I advise her, she assumes I think she can't handle her own problems and by extension, that's she's stupid. It's better to ignore her let her do it herself. |

She would only ask if she needed A different point of view... then yea, she'd figure it out herself from there. just guessing |
