What does every body think of breaking up with someone via text? It is no different than a woman sending a "Dear John" letter to a man in the military. China_gurrl, if you do it, then you'd be available to us lonely Melmacians.

If you are going to break up what would be the difference to do it in a text or what ever way you need to do it? It is easier to break up in a text.

What does every body think of breaking up with someone via text? to me if a man brakes up with the lady over a text that just shows how much of a wimp they are i have broken up with a few guys in the past over email and they were local one guy lived hour away and we were together 7months only saw him 5x he kept making excuses and i wasent going to deal with it he was waiting for me to end it another guy well im not a fan of alcoholics and boy he was but when he was sober he tried to be a controler and i wasent going to deal with it

Break up over text is a easy way out. Not facing the problem. It shows lack of respect that person had for the other.

Sometimes texting gets the message across.
