Come on mingle family...you'd tell me right? I've given up dating! It's for the best! Now, Im looking for friends...Just friends! I have a few..and they are great! Hi guys! You know who you are! Ive sent out friend requests and what do I get! ..... and here's the kick in the kidney!! "You're lovely but I'm looking for love"...." I would be your friend but only if it can develop into something more"..." Hi..are those real" W. T. F Tell me..be honest... IS IT ME!!?? When I want love...there is no one! I no longer want love now everyone wants a girlfriend!!! Am I on candid camera Internet version??

If you sent me a friend request (not likely) I'd accept it. But, I don't accept them from people I haven't at least bumped into in the forums. I don't generally send any friend requests. So, I don't know about that part.

I had a similar experience on another site. Went on it trying to get dates but all I got was women that were wanting friends on the internet. So I thought that maybe I sounded too desperate and I was quite demoralised and fed up with it anyway and changed my profile to say that I was just on there to chat and then they wouldn't even talk to me at all.

I like you if it means anything because youre genuine and seem to use simple logic when you argue to get you point across which a lot of females don't do. Whom am I to give advice yet I would say if you asked to lose the glasses get contacts, burn that top that your wearing in that pic of you in some kind of locker room, Keep it original, guys love to try to bring thing out of woman like persuade them to be as they like Be funny than mean flirt then withdraw

I concur with everyone's assessment.. there is nothing wrong with you.. and no.. you shouldn't have to enter a friendship IF there are conditions attached.. if any of the friendships over time turn into something more.. then so be it.. if not.. you still have friends

It's the way the universe works. You say no dating, and then men smell that pheromone on ya and then want to shag you all day and all night. I figured out that if I say I just want a kitchen buddy to help perfect my cooking skillz, then chicks write me off as either gay or damaged. Win win I say.

I will not send a "Friend" request to a woman who set her mail filter to prevent me from sending her mail. Your mail filter will not allow anyone over 150 miles from you to write to you.
