Yes, ours have bloomed weeks ago..I'm waiting for the mesquites to leaf out, then I'll know the winter is really over.

One thing about it hippie, we haven't had much rain and the lakes are drying up..I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you live in South Texas...Deep Woods Off will keep you from getting it. Cathy..you need to move to Texas...we may have tornados, but they are over with in minutes...not days like a blizzard!

D/FW has been in a drought but lately we've been getting rain. It is why they are talking about WN virus again. I try not to go out at dawn or dusk, the active times.

Metal Wing ( Joe) Lives in Houston..they are really bad there and his yard is always full of mosquitoes..he's always getting bit several hundred times a day..but always forgets to spray himself.. WN is rampant down there.

Metal Wing ( Joe) Lives in Houston..they are really bad there and his yard is always full of mosquitoes..he's always getting bit several hundred times a day..but always forgets to spray himself.. WN is rampant down there. 500mg vitamni B-1 keeps them away from me. Try it....WORKS

Here too early risers. It is 69 in Big D already this morning! Unfortunately tonight they say it is supposed to dip as low as the 30s maybe. Grrr, winter leave already! Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Morning everyone... We have had beautiful weather since Sat..61 right now and going up to low 70's, tomorrow 80...YEA, finally!!! I've got spring fever and went to Lowe's, bought some paint and a new address thing to put up on the outside of my garage apartment..UPS and FED ex have a hard time finding me...lol Flowers are blooming and the birds are singing, going to be a great day!!! Have a good one!!

Middle of a warm spring day here... Been troubleshooting a computer at work... First T-storms of the season over the North Coast last night and we'll probably have some again today/tonight. But I had the windows open last night and could smell them approaching. I love the smell of spring rain in the air after a long winter.
