Don't confuse our beloved country with the corrupt gov't seeking to control it!

Why don't those who are so unhappy with America find a country that suits their needs better and move there?

Why don't those so willing to allow their freedoms and every aspect of their existence to be controlled by an out of control, corporate/banker sponsored gov't, stand up and defend her in her hour of greatest need instead of allowing her to be destroyed from within?

Everyone has an opinion, only 2% of Americans defend your right and ability to enjoy it.... our service men and women.

These same returning men and women are now higher on the terrorist watch list of our DHS than MEK or the Muslim Brotherhood.... which have now been removed under this administration.

Those service men and women voluntarily serve the country. They choose to do so. Do you often tell people that they should do that?

I served in Vietnam, proudly thinking I was defending America, only to discover it was all based on a lie (the Gulf of Tonkin false flag)!

For our own DHS to consider our returning servicemen/women a higher risk to our national security than MEK or other foreign entities speaks volumes to their loyalties!

They did not serve to be forgotten, degraded, ridiculed, shunned or defamed in such a way.... it is their oath to our country and its constitution, the people in it, not its gov't that has placed them there!

And this is OK by you? That's gratitude for you!

I understand the emotional attachment but military personnel arent perfect by design just because they are military.

it is logical, that when people are TRAINED AT KILLING and there are signs that they are discontented and/or mentally/emotionally damaged

they may be a higher risk than your run of the mill inexperienced nutcase

So now let's add mentally unbalanced to the list as well so we can rationally commit to more undeclared wars, and more of the same.

Gov't official enjoy better health care and more benefits than our soldiers. As lawmakers, they have the priviledge of making the rules....it's obvious who those rules favor!

It's the gullible who buy the gov't talking points and their sponsored word presses that amaze me!

ALL veterans were put on the watch list along with people who carry a bible, a copy of the constitution, guns and ammo literature, prepper literature, and a bumper sticker can get you stopped and searched (that will never be admitted except on hidden camera videos.... and there are many!)!

Why would the government fear returning Veterans?

More will end up homeless, rejected by the VA, Baker acted, divorced and lose their children than will ever turn on the very nation that sent them into harms way and then treats them like they are terrorists rather than help them adapt back to civilian life or family counseling to help them keep their families alive.

Returning Veterans are less of a threat to this nation than the government, politicians and congressmen who plot and plan to destroy it every day. I personally cannot believe that our government could stoop to such a low level but then I am reminded of the Gulf of Tonkin, JFK, Ruby Ridge, Waco, 911 and on and on and on…..

More commit suicide than EVER before!

no, neither is lung cancer only prevalent in smokers, but we do aknowledge that the nature of a smokers lifestyle makes them at a HIGHER RISK for it,,,,

hope you have better Evidence than a few examples from Huffpo!

really, Huffington Post, and the los angeles times, and a local louisiana paper,,,

thats all from the first page of my search for 'suspect is an ex marine'

....looks like plenty of trees to choose from,,,,unless one isnt interested in seeing the forest,,,

I understand the emotional attachment but military personnel arent perfect by design just because they are military.

it is logical, that when people are TRAINED AT KILLING and there are signs that they are discontented and/or mentally/emotionally damaged

they may be a higher risk than your run of the mill inexperienced nutcase

So now let's add mentally unbalanced to the list as well so we can rationally commit to more undeclared wars, and more of the same.

Gov't official enjoy better health care and more benefits than our soldiers. As lawmakers, they have the priviledge of making the rules....it's obvious who those rules favor!

nothing was said about committing undeclared wars

being cautious of high risks and going to war are entirely different things

Boy are you gullible!

It is a forest, even if you can't see it thru the trees!

tell me about it

So let's judge all politicos by the actions of the crazy ones, or those who have been caught cheating, drunken driving, taking bribes, leaking secrets, campaign fraud and election tampering, using drugs, etc, etc...

Try a valid defense! That dog don't hunt!

Getting back to the OP.....

Poor leadership is a good reason to secede from ANY group or union!

Why would you continue to support a group or body that no longer values your opinion or rights?

Sucession is only disenfranchising yourself from the body, not the whole, and in many cases is is the beginning of change, a new opinion, that many may choose to follow....just as the tea party was, but failed when it was co-opted by the very elite it was set up to challenge.

Many believe that money conquers all, and in the physical that may be true, but the mental it is still a personal choice. THAT is why Robme couldn't win! He had no passion or understanding of the concept of free will (like his handlers), thinking money and power would rule the day, dispite the lack of teeth in the bite!

He was easier to defeat than a a guy surrounded by controversy, poor proformance, and bad policies, because he had no passion but his desire for money and power, where Obozo was only drunk on power.... the lesser of 2 evils.

When no choice is available, you create one.....secession is a choice, and far better than civil war or revolution!

More commit suicide than EVER before!

first off, the 'terrorist watch list' is not viewable by the common public, so I dont know whose names are on it nor does anyone on this thread

BUT

I do recall there being a bulletin , redistributed from a similar bulletin released under BUSH to local lawn enforcement officials
stating that military experience was often sought after by extremists
and that returning vets may be approached

this is FAR from all vets being placed on a terrorist watchlist

It was Nasty Piglousey who put returning vets in the "highest" catagory along with white supremists, survivalists, extremists and militia groups. The NBP was never mentioned, MEK and other foreign entities were removed, but not vets.

It was published in a DHS memo to law enforcement, released by a whistleblower/Oath Keeper, and enhanced the status of returning vets to "highest" probability.

I know its a typo, but I do dislike lawn enforcement officers, when I lived in a house they would harrass me about my lawn, luckily the PA Supreme Court ruled that I had the right to use my "bad words".

I have worked with ex-military, VA benefits are minimal. The VA has not caught up with Vietnam Vets and will soon get the influx from Iraq/Afghanistan. The hardest part of teaching someone to kill is teaching them to turn it off. There is very poor transition; still little care for PTSD, or people who can not relate to the outside world without someone telling what where when how to do things. While the Army has done excellent research in resiliancy(Sp?) they have a hard time putting it into practice. The current rate of suicide is the highest it has ever been.
