People with pre-existing conditions have been out of luck in this country as far as health insurance is concerned. This just tells me that health insurance as it has always been is nothing better than a for profit business that does not really give a rats rear about your health at all. Its just profit they are interested in. Really? I have great insurance. I'm happy for you.

well,Atlas is flexing,shrugging even! What does Greek mythology have to do with anything in this thread? I can see you're not getting it! I never get the jokes in really old movies they are so dated so I do not even feel bad for "not getting it" whatever it may be. Not a Movie,but was made into one barely a year ago! But it's a really old book, so it's dated too. 1957,but was made into a Movie last year! It must have been a stinker I never heard of it and it seems no one else has either. actually,I am not surprised you never heard about it!

She quickly discredited herself yeah,right! and where is Branden now? Objectivism is alive and well,regardless of the Nay-sayers. Besides,what is making Branden such an Expert?Yeah,I am aware they were Lovers,except that it has little to do with Objectivism,and actually would impeach Branden as an unbiased witness!

If you have a easy job and a pre existing condition and insurance thats great but you better hope your job is forever or you will get taste of what others are feeling. To me the big thing is other people even If I won the lottery I would want others to have health care because its not all about me. Did Jesus only help the afflicted with insurance?

It is your own. exactly why there is the expectation for everyone to have their OWN health insurance,,,, having a medical institution that rarely helps those without it unless they have plenty of cash on hand,,,

I feel that america is about helping our fellow citizens for even those who think they are on top of the world will get a lesson in life eventually.

Insurance is a business. insurance is the status quo that helps people get care they can 'afford' when people get care they cant afford, or need help they cant afford, those expenses fall upon the us budget,,,,

The country is for the people and majority rules. Singlemindness is what won the last 2 elections for our president. The people have spoke and now others will get health insurance. America has changed, People want a fair chance at happiness, the poor need health care just like the rich. The computer has changed life in America it puts out a lot of information, more people vote for a change in thinking. Do not be afraid feel good about helping someone less fortune than you. Go volunteer at asoup kitchen or your local shelter. It will open your eyes. People are in trouble and need help badly. Theres no greater feeling than helping your fellow man. Look into a child eyes who's sick and the scared look in her mothers eyes Think of how paying a little more for things would help them and how good it would make you feel.
