Looks like the health insurance they used to be able to afford has been replaced by a high tax. Demand a repeal of the oBummertax. |

I would like to see some greedy over paid executive fix and run his equipment with a talent pool of the underpaid workers he desires so he can have a ten thousand dollar shower curtain. The reason they are going to close their doors is because they open one on every street corner. When you disrespect the people who are working hard for you, you get what you deserve. You should want employee's to be able to go to the dr.s to stay healthy to help you run your biz right. Good help equals a very well run company.

Successful companies reducing their employees' hours so they don't have to provide health insurance? Sounds like greedy employers not wanting to provide what they should to their employees. the stench is strong from bs mountain, isnt it? how likely is it that megamillion corps like applebees or papa johns couldnt afford a dollar more per hour for full time employees to pay the 'fine' of not offering the coverage? we get similar tantrum like backlash whenever minimum wage is raised,, but we keep surviving,,,,, |

Aahh Poor guy now he will only make about 49 million a year instead of 50 million. 15 cents a pizza is not a steep price to pay for hard working employee's who fill his pockets with gold. Actually it is the franchise owners who are going to suffer and be forced to shut down. They are barely able to keep their doors open as it is. |

If you know what's in the tax bill, tell Congress. They haven't even read it yet. If it adversely affects businesses or franchises, repeal the tax. Put the lazy libs to work and get them off welfare. |

Funny most of these places work their employees under a certain amount of hours just so they don't have to offer them benefits ...
I work for a company that gladly pays for all the employees insurance... and will continue too... It is a small business under 21 employees... Yet the company's that are 100's of millions are the ones barking the loudest... Hummm guess it just might take their big vacations away from them.... |

When businesses are compelled to end their contracts with private insurers, I'm certain there will be changes made or many will go under. |

We love millionaires who throw, kick, and bounce balls We love millionaires who pretend to be someone in movies We love millionaires who play guitars, sing, and dance We love millionaires who talk on late night TV We love millionaires who controll our lives in government We hate millionaires who create jobs I just don't understand it. |

Humm so who would they get the insurance through if not from private? |

Anyone can goto Esurance.com and get full plans for like $50.00 a month. Everyone wants a handout. If you don't like the fact your employer doesn't offer benefits or the benefits you want find another job.

And that is for health insurance?

And that is for health insurance? Medical and vision through Saint Mary's. |
|

If that is from where you work they either get one heck of a deal or pay for most of the insurance...

I don't have insurance through my work. The cheapest plans from esurance per month is $48.67. Run the free quote and see for yourself. Even the good plans are like $100-$150 a month.

Sad thing is, when/if employees start getting insurance, when the claims get filed the insurance company is just going to say "not covered by this policy" and not cough up any dough any way.
