Don't you love going to a Haloween party & seeing all the different costumes! I saw some CRAZY stuff this year

I love MAKING and wearing costumes! BUT NO BUDGET AND A SCREWED UP WORK SCHEDULE ALONG WITH HAVING TO CHASE A COOKIE MUNCHING MILK DRINKING MOUSE FROM MY HOUSE!!! I hate a feast and famine existence! The famines always hit when I am supposed to be enjoying myself! plus setting up haunted houses in an attempt to scare people into peeing themselves! When they come running from the other end screaming their minds out we know we did a good job!

In Australia we dont really have halloween, but since we have been in America this year, I have been scared more times than is good for anyone.

Around here we have a tradition that the night before Halloween is a night for pranks such as toilet papering houses, throwing eggs, soaping up cars, the old flaming bag of dog poo on a doorstep, etc.

We have mischief night here too but I think sandy caused enough mischief for everyone lol.

My neighbourhood is terrorized by this eight-foot woman who speaks with an Aussie accent and she keeps falling up, we have to fish her down more than enough form tree-tops and from chimneys, where she is hanging onto for dear life lest she fall up for good.

What I said is not true. I was just soooooo desparate to one-up the old flaming bag of dog poo on the doorstep. But that is a class act, refined by many small changes over the years of its folkloric existence, I can't top that. No way. Not with only five minutes to spare in preparing the idea.

I love to dress up for Halloween. I stay at the house till about 8:30 each year to give out candy, but I live on a dead end street, which is also one of the few that is not paved, with little lighting so again this year I had no trick or treaters come to my door So after the 8:30 deadline I head out in my costume for grown up party time There's some great costumes out there

I didn't go out this year; clean-up after the storm kinda tired me out. Plus to be honest, I got banned from several parties, last year I went out as Malcolm McDonell in A Clockwork Orange, one person got it and that happened to be the woman who carved "I'm so horny" on the pumpkin and well a lot of my friends wives are still kinda upset, even though no one saw us.

I had not one single trick or treater, even though there are plenty of kids in this neighborhood. In fact the houses on both sides of me have kids. I don't know why they didn't send them around. There was absolutely nothing going on. Maybe they don't do it in Utah?

I didn't go out this year or hand out candy. Way too busy with my band preparing to play with the symphony and then I was very run down on Halloween night; so slept for 14 hours. Maybe next year.....

It was as busy as ever here in the UK, I had dozens of "Trick or Treat" young callers (always with an adult), and I was very impressed with many of the kids costumes, all good fun.
