Topic: Rape something God intended..... | |

Women’s bodies are yet again at the axis of the 2012 election season. All it took was an Indiana Republican Senate candidate saying aloud what many evangelical anti-abortion activists seem to believe—that a pregnancy resulting from a rape is “something God intended to happen.” When asked if he was sorry, Richard Mourdock demurred. “I spoke from my heart. And speaking from my heart, speaking from the deepest level of my faith, I would not apologize,” he said. First there was Akin....now Mourdock. |

I think all people are entitled to their religous beliefs, but NOT entitled to shove their beliefs down the throats of others. Abortion is and should be a private decision not under legal controls. Christian extremeists have gone too far. Mourdock may be well meaning, but he frequently oversteps his bounds and needs to be brought back in line with reality.

Is your god really that evil? |

I have a way to shut these Evangelical types who spout this crap. Get five of the biggest meanest Homosexuals you can find and have them rape one or two of these Evangelicals and see how they like it! "Sweetie, its god's will that a man can rape a man too then!"
Some Christians have their heads so far up their backsides but the sick thing is some Christians really do get it. Not a lot but a few do! I am sure Richard Murdock would be all bent if his black cherry got popped. Let's see if he appreciates it when God commands some woman to be victimized like that. It is men like this that do not deserve a penis! |

And people wonder why I became an atheist. |

It's God's will for people to starve to death daily too? God's will to have people murdered? God's will does not exist, c'mon people, it's the 21st century! Stop hiding behind this smokescreen!

Answer this please.
If any of you had been conceived as a result of rape, do you think it would have been better that you had not been given this chance at life? |

Answer this please. If any of you had been conceived as a result of rape, do you think it would have been better that you had not been given this chance at life? I haven't been conceived as a result of rape but either way my existence is not that important. I am one of many and whether I die today or 20 years from now; it means nothing in the big scheme of life. I know what it feels like to be an unwanted child and even as a child at age 11; I thought I would be better off dead than being with parents that didn't want me. |

Your life is a gift to others. Sure... some people can be mean & cruel, but that doesn't invalidate you. You may be the only sweetness some people will ever know on this earth. Thank you for your service, navygirl! |

I was thinking god is not only evil but very twisted. I suppose its also god's intention to have the woman beaten and left for dead too? And people wonder why I became an atheist. You just quoted from Mohammed. He's down with raping women, babies, boys and donkeys. He also advises men to give dey womens a good whoopin' to keep 'em in line. You wouldn't want to cover yourself up and join the clan? |
