It is usually considered punishment for having sex at that point. Who cares if it eats, gets schooled, get healthcare, etc.... So yea, if you were unfortunate enough to raise that penis then suffer the consequences you nasty wench....

Often the Bible gets a bad rap... many of the mentioned codes of conduct are seen by readers as ... extreme laws but are simply appropriate behavior in a group or community. Almost like stopping at a red light or at a stop sign. There will always be those who want to penalize or condemn others who break protocol... or on the flip side, there are those who will protest the fact that the code exists. Then form a special interest group around it. |

Indiana senate candidate...Republican...Richard Mourdock says this, "Pregnancies resulting from rape are God's will."...Shocking, disappointingly stupid, inappropriate...An affront to human dignity, an affront to christians, an affront to women... Mourdock says his belief stems from faith, DEEP faith....I call bullchit... If, as a christian, you believe all life is a sacred gift from God, how do you justify exploiting God's will in the political arena for self serving reasons?...On second thought, how does any so called christian justify exploiting the word of God for any reason?...
