Every year thousands of children are molested, abused and murdered right here in the USA. According to the the FBIs department of statistical studies, more children are murdered, raped, and molested by not just strangers, but by family members, mentors, teachers, siblings and parents then any other western nation and the world. As Americans, I think our focus should be on our own shortcomings. To critique other nations for the same crimes is not only the height of hypocracy, but it does little in addressing our own conditions.

So again to use this argument to make America look like a complete den of sin is fallacious. WE ARE BETTER COMPARED TO MANY OTHER NATIONS LIKE CHAD OR SUDAN WHERE CHILDREN ARE MADE TO FIGHT WARS AS SOLDIERS! Oh but many Islamic groups expect people to marry, breed, and give up their offspring for their holy war. You dare not compare statistics to a nation in Africa pertaining to child violation! We do have room to critique other nations. We at one time set a standard other nations looked up to and even for as bad as we are we still have a higher standard of living than they do. Even China has a horrible track record with Children's rights! Want to be told what you are going to do for the rest of your life? And that number of thousands? In a ten year period? Please, it is only a handful in the hundreds per year nation wide if that! Quit confusing us with a piss hole like Somalia that has one of the highest child mortality rates in the world!!! Yes there is more we could do to protect children but there will ALWAYS be more we can do! You act like Nothing is being done at all... Scandalous I say! |

All religions make homosexuality immoral, if a man has sex with a man, he is a homosexual, does not matter who is catching or pitching. If a man invites another man to his privates, that is homosexuality. But to have sex with a boy redefines a more disturbing behavior. The Catholic churchs history of pedophilia has nothing to do with mere homosexuality, its more to do with a mind in perpetual recessiveness. To have sex with the same gender is one thing, consenting adults need no moral guide when lust is involved, but to immpose your will of disgusting behavior on a child is beyond atonement. There is a big differance no matter what religion one professes. As for things being done to combat pedophilia, NOTHING! One can only educate ones own child. No matter what happens, this crime will continue, as our society has no divine guildence. Therefore our attitude is "look at those people" , they are animals, meanwhile we do the same. Our country is ranked number one in crimes against children. There are many Sunduskys in our country, deflecting to others will do little to truly address this most disgusting of crimes. I could care less what happens in other countries. We would be wise to take care of our own here.
