However we may look at it, sex is a natural urge especially when two people of opposite sex hook up with some tender feelings. What is your take on the place of sex in a relationship?

If it's no good, you are in BIG trouble.. I don't think it's the main thing, but it's just another way to express how you feel about each other and enjoy each other

So my question to you to better understand is this- Is it that sex itself is a natural urge (I think so personally), or is it the wanton need/desire to share something deeper the emotional aspects of the act ?

I think sex without love is fleeting, and temporary = lust I think love expressed through sex is beautiful and substantial I dont think sex is NECESSARY to fulfill our physical needs, I Believe it is psychologically thrust upon us in all walks of life until we BELIEVE It to be a necessity and become addicted to and dependent upon it for our relationships to last I think love can make sex wonderful, but sex can never create love

Just to add it also is wonderful when two people of the same sex have those tender feelings. Sex is important more so when we are younger but as people age; they do tend to lose their desire which is perfectly normal. I know of several happily married older couples that dearly love each other but no longer have sex.

Me, I will abstain till I get married. Sex is hugely important and an expression of your love for each other. I could never feel uninhibited, able to give all of myself unless he had my love, trust and respect in a loving commited marraige.

I'm asexual...So sex is hardly important to me, least of all of the things that are. Like getting to know the person, developing emotions mutually, so on and so forth. Sex is just sex unless I'm trying to have a child, therein it is rather useless in my mind until I want a child.

Well sex is a natural urge when you love someone. Doesn't guarantee it will be good. However, there is lots of time to "practice".

I don tbelieve the urge for sex has to do with love animals have sex too I think sex is an urge that is purely of the flesh, when it is indeed an 'urge' and that urge can be sparked by emotional, physical, or psychological stimulation,,, I do think, for humans, there is a need for 'touch', although there is no necessity for it to be sex,,,,,

The best sex is when it's unplanned.Me and my ex used to plan sex for the night then come night one of us was usually tired.When sex wasn't planned and we both felt horny it was fantastic.I love the undressing part.I got turned on sometimes when she waited for me in a little number and started on me before i got up the stairs.So by the time we got upstairs we knew it will be a good night.Sex is very important but only good sex for me.
