Thinking about this thread and I think it is probably worth saying that the people who have befriended me have probably saved my life because some of the "stuff" I went through the years I have been on Mingle would surely have taken me down if I had not had that support and had to go it alone. Mingle in a way has contributed some changes in me. This is the first forum that I have interacted with , it helped me express my thoughts in writing, it showed me and opened my mind to the cultural differences and made me understand better the human behaviors, it helped me meet wonderful people but what changed me really are the experiences I encountered each day which made me come up to the realization of what is right and what is wrong and what are the actions I should take to help me grow as an individual despite of the challenges or trials that I've been through, I've learned to stay strong with my feet planted on the ground and taking a steady steps forward

Years ago this place used to have so many people online. Heck I remember posting and once I hit the "Post reply" button my post would be way down at the bottom. Anyways, Mingle (Just Say Hi to us "old schoolers") opened me up to people from all over the globe. Heck, I connected with people that (in real life) I may never have even connected with. Also, when this place used to have the "Sex Thread" I learned how many freaky women were out there.
