I always have thought it interesting how both men and women look for the "perfect" person. For example...super good looking, but not vain, or maybe rich and not stuck up. Society tells everyone attractive "you can have anything, or anyone you want" after a while it becomes true. Love to hear about other contradictions you have found!

 well i find it hard finding that new one cause they are either too far away from you or they don't really match up to what they say they are.....

Society doesn't tell any one or anybody how to react to something or somebody, it's the media and magainzes and shows and movies etc.

I mean every body has there own standers for there likes and dislikes etc.

But belive it or not, I some what care about what the person looks like with whome I might be going out with, I mean if I didn't then I might as well find something I really just didn't care much about etc.

But why set one self up for failer etc.

good looks, and a ton of money cant buy happiness...........just the material things

give me a great personality, a man with a sense of humor, and someone willing to accept me for me and I would be happy.........don't expect anyone to support me.......would rather work together.........more meaningful then

I'm looking for perfect for me. He must be out there. Been trying to multi-date and see if I can shoot a fish in a barrel. That did not come out right, but I know my friends here know what I mean.

Johncenawlife said Society doesn't tell any one or anybody how to react to something or somebody

Il have to disagree a little bit about it. As we grow up and watch and learn from what others do.The media and magainzes and shows and movies etc. are just a little part of it. Society to me is the real world not what you see on TV etc etc. Our parents older brother or sisters plays a big part in some peoples lives. So what is shared with you and through other people most of the time as you grow up. Your mind is traind to believe as most see. Well at least until reality sets in lol

Think about it! Back in the old days it was to believe that the man is to work and the womean to stay home, take care of the kids cooking Etc. Society believed that this is the way it should be and in some situations it is still that way. But in todays Society. Women are taught to or at least hope to take care of themselves. So there for Society does train ones mind to be a serten way or how you will make choices. If I made any sense to anyone lol Please let me know

All I can say for those looking for perfection. If that is your goal ya better go adopt a dog for you are going to be a very lonely person. There are no perfect pepple .

We are all unique in our own ways and one must accept us for who we are with our flaws and all. One should never try to mold there partner into something they are not

No matter what or how they were when you met them. You should let them remain that way for that is what made you fall in love witht them in the first place.drinker bigsmile One should never try to control the other but......... instead let them be themselves and be able to express the way they know how. Never judge them for there mistakes instead just stand beside them and give them the support they require.

My self not looking for perfection , looking for someone that will love me as much as I love them that one that is there cause they want to be. But now I wil admit they have to be at least pleasant looking and pleasing to my eyes. Must have humor and can carry on conversation. And have a heart and don't mind show it as well. Awwwwwwww and loves to cuddle lolbigsmile flowerforyou

Perfect for me doesn't mean without ordinary human flaws. So yeah. There are people who a "perfect".

And wow, that was way sappier than I like. I feel like I need to stomp on some bunnies in order to reassert my masculinity.

"Society doesn't tell any one or anybody how to react to something or somebody, it's the media and magainzes and shows and movies etc. "

Media is part of society. And even the non-media aspects of society have an impact on your beliefs/attitudes/etc. Actually, they have an even greater impact, since you're wired to learn how to live and think and behave by watching other people. That's what culture is. There's a reason there's no group of people in the world who lack culture.
