For those about to dunk, we salute you!

I celebrated by eating a cinnamon roll with chocolate milk.

There are No donuts.
Only Krispy Kremes..

That explains the missing donut holes.

Oh goodie, another reason to put off that diet

Years ago, I was down in Los Angeles and my sister
told me to go to get Krispy Kreme donuts..I had
never heard of them.
And I didn't like donuts at all, apparently it
was safe to send me :-)

The Krispy Kreme placed was packed.
I get in line.
I see people up ahead getting 6+ dozen at a time.
I am thinking, there must be big companies or
something in the area.

Naturally, I begin chatting the others in line,
all apparently habitual users.
They cannot believe I have never tried one of
these donuts.
The word spreads, up the line..until it reaches
the counter gal.
She looks down the line at me.
There's a bit of a hush.
She walks around the counter, down the line,
and hands me a Krispy Kreme donut.
Which I had had no intention of sampling.

But I know fate when I smell it.

So, as everybody watched, I was fully prepared
to make the icky face (I never pander to ANYone)
when it hit my taste buds.
Fresh, warm, oozing, melting in your mouth.
The world falls away, it is just you and the
best tasting thing to ever grace your
lips and tongue.
You don't even want to swallow.
Everyone is nodding their heads, smiling.
Ba$tards.

For some people, every day is donut day.

krispy kremes is ok, but these folks have been around for a minute or two

I really like Dunkin Donuts.
