Topic: 50 reasons to be ashamed (and not a fan) of Jesus | |
---|---|
Didn't say everyone that disobeys God is possessed by Satan. why else would a follower dare to disobey God... Free will, and pride. Same reason a child disobeys their parent. Because they choose to. so followers have the minds of children? We are children, chidlren of the father who art in Heaven. Again, only through pride does one think "well I'm an adult, I can do whatever". For we will always be children of God. |

Sure it can, for again you obey by choice. Free Will and Obey is a contradiction How so? You'll need to elaborate on that. If there was no free will, there would be no need to "obey" because we would automatically do it without thought, without using our own will to do that in question. "Free Will" and "Obey" can not be part of the same equation |

If someone wholeheartedly prays for being healed, they will. There are lots of healings that come from prayer. People have gotten back to walking through prayer when medical laws said they would never walk again and so on. There are many miracles out there if one pays attention. you're making my point why believers should never go to doctors |

We would already just automatically mindlessly obey like a robot. |

One doesn't "have" to go to a doctor, but that doesn't mean going to one is displaying a lack of faith. Just having faith God will give the doctor the ability to heal them of whatever it is they are going for. |

And the "right decisions" is purely perspective. What you deam to be "right" another may not and so on. That is why God has given us explicit instructions on what he deams to be right or wrong. If he did not tell us, how would we know what HE thought was right or wrong? But yes, we are but children needing guidance and strength from the father. |

Howso? There would be no commandment to "obey" if there was no "free will". We would already just automatically mindlessly obey like a robot. the fact that you have commandments means you as a follower have no choice but to obey them .....if you don't obey them...then you are a hyprocrite and not a follower this is why "Commandments" and "Free Will" can not exist in the same realm |

I am just that, a child of God, a child of my father. I have free will and choose to obey or disobey. I am very grateful to have an everloving father that is willing to forgive me of my mistakes and stupid dicisions. |

Ah, but I'm not specifically a "follower" of my Father. I am just that, a child of God, which means that you "specifically" sometimes follower Satan see how I got you to "specifically" deny the Father by "specifically" using the word "obey" it's "specifically" a betrayal just like the disciples "specifically" did to Jesus ...er...did I mention "specifically"? |

Sinning and "denying" the lord are absolutely two different things. In this time of weekness, I never proclaimed to not love God. Only made a mistake. I then repent from that which I did and ask for forgiveness. Servitude to God isn't a "king/lord" form of servitude. It's a parent to child form. It's being obedient to your father or not. Not a king with a whip right behind you forcing you to do things. It's called acting out of love, not by force. |

Again, howso? You didn't answer the question. Your faith in God that he will give the ability to the doctor and or make it possible for your doctor to heal you, does not show a lack of faith. It shows faith that you trust in the LORD to give the doctor the ability to heal you. |

Sinning and "denying" the lord are absolutely two different things. no Cowboy my young jedi padawan...they are the same ...ask Yoda No, sinning is being disobedient to the father. Denying the father would be proclaiming to not know God, or that you don't follow him, or that you don't even believe in him. Again, two different things. People make mistakes, thus God offers forgiveness of those sins through his graceful love. |

Secondly I could never "heal myself". It would be all done by God. |
