Unprotected from a commercial airplane? Yea its not hard to believe at all.

So the same thing can happen again...a rouge pilot can crash a commercial plane into the Pentagon at will and no form of protection is possible

So are you saying the Pentagon cannot be protected?

The alleged plane that struck the Pentagon was in the air for quite some time

How much is "Quite some time"?

Besides, turn off the Transponder of the Plane, and it will be invisible for all practical purposes!

You might be an engineer..but could you please decipher the English in your statement because I haven't a clue what you are on about.

If you see nothing amiss with the 911 fiasco then I will have to dismiss you.

yeah, its actually impossible what you are talking about!
Commercial Planes use Transponders which identify them on the Screen, turn them off,and you need an AWACS to find it!rofl slaphead

I think I understand what he is trying to say. I will attempt to give a logical answer.

Its the plane thats off course that turned its transponder off and is heading straight for washington the most well defended air space on the planet. trillions have been spent, hot air balloons have been intercepted prior to 911, small cesnas, etc etc. Nothing that isnt authorised gets through that air space , well except on 911.........

And they usually aren't flying in the US!

The way the military treats a civilian airplane in prohibited airspace is to send a fighter. The fighter identifies the plane by it's "N" number and tries to make radio contact. If that fails, the fighter gives instructions to the plane to follow it to whatever airport to land the FAA, DEA, Homeland Security, or the military decides. It that fails, the fighter forces the plane down by flying overhead very close (this tactic works very well). If all else fails or there is some reason that the plane is considered hostile and dangerous, such as flying over the home of the president, the fighter can shoot the plane down.

I don't know what bozo came up with the idea that the Washington D.C. area is the most heavily defended airspace in the world but it is an incredibly stupid lie. It is a commercial flight area.

Areas are defended in different ways by different countries to different degrees. The US is a free country and the strictly defended areas are mostly just military training areas. The areas around Presidential homes are strictly defended as are areas around Air Force One while in operation.

Civilian planes violate Federal and Military airspace every day. Usually nothing happens at all. Sometimes the pilot gets a good butt chewing and can even lose his certificate. If his transponder is turned off and he is flying slow, they usually just assume you are stupid but harmless and ignore you.

I have been flying for thirty years and have violated both Federal and Military airspace several times, usually just for being stupid. I have only been chewed out once and I actually did nothing wrong that time, I was just flying close to Air Force One but still a legal distance of thirty miles.

You clowns should at least read a little before just making up stupid crap.

I have no doubt that an arrow wouldn't get through that space never mind a mass of metal weighing 100 tons....amazing

They are grasping at straws....
