Well now, since this is my first day on here and I have no experience at all with these sites, I read all your comments with interest and perhaps to gain some insight. I am not sure yet if I should be scared or optimistic about this new adventure.

I've had a chance to meet 3 people since starting on here in December. I will probably end up with one good friend out of that process. I see this site as a way to meet people that have friendship potential. Messaging and forums are a way to find out about people that I would like to get to know better in person. There are others that are far away, so I may not end up meeting them, but I never say never!
