Please keep me in your prayers. I've been in the hospital since friday night, and will most likely be here for a lot longer. I fractured my lower back, broke my pelvic bone, and I've got stitches in my head. They started me on physical therapy today, I can only wish for a speedy recovery.

Be sure and check with your Hospital and Apply for Hill Burton assistance for the hospital bills. It is a one time major grant to help defray catestrophic nedcal expenses for people who make up to $55,000.per year income and go over their insurance cap or do not have insurance.

If you have any left over disability preventing you from returning to full time employment you can also apply for Vocational Rehabilitation for job skills evaluation and retraining.

All community colleges and State Universities have a FREE Special Student Services coordinator to help you get on campus assistance to level the playing field if you want to return to school.

All states have several peer staffed free Independent Living Center if you need any number of assistance programs.

Update:

I was discharged from the hospital today, I will not be able to walk for another 2-3 weeks unfortunatly (even so I'm still alive and not parilyzed) So for the time being I am at home, and in a wheelchair. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes

Keeping you in my prayers . Done the spell in t wheelchair and it really can be tough.

Your local Independent Living Center can probably hook you up with a peer councelor in you own neighbor hood to help get you through it and help keep you spirits up.
