To my door step??? Yikes... yup - that's why a lot of people use proxy servers - some even use publicly available computers (like the library or work if they can) when on certain sites. I used to that stuff but don't bother any more I was able, however, with a phone number to essentially sit in someone's front yard via google maps & earth. I don't usually bother with all of that but anything long distance it's nice to know that a physical address is legit since I'm not considering long distance any longer, I don't bother with all of that any more so definitely be careful who you call because guys give out their numbers all the time - and if you call them they will then have yours and the possibility to basically know anything that can be learned with a phone # so even tho u may have nothing to hide - you also want to protect yourself I think this is why some people change #s frequently Great advise! honestly - I think I've been on here too long - that is stuff I assumed everyone was aware of...

I never give out my email.When you tell them that you only chat on site. You will get rid of a scammer real quik!

If, on a first email, they do NOT ask you to: Yahoo, Skype, Facebook, personal email.. This is a white flag. That they don't ask. I direct EVERYone to the forums. If they are at all sincere, they might check that out.

I have received several emails requesting my personal IM or email address. I do not do that. And then I never hear from them again. How many have given that out when requested to do so? Just a couple of tips that may help... Be less sexy...it is an uphill fight but, just try. Try to be less desirable.....it will help eliminate spammers. Stop being so good looking....They generally ignore the ugly people. Hope this helps.

I used to think that a white flag meant surrender and whats the fun in that, but a red flag was a challenge! Let me tell you: a challenge is not necessarily fun.

How many have given that out when requested to do so? oh boy don't do it they have no reason or business with anyones email on a dating site,if they want to talk to you or get to know you they can just message you simply right here...but emails are what hackers target because with those they can gain access to the victims sensitive information...next thing you know your facebook may look funny,they might even attempt to hack in to your bank online or maybe a payment processor site like paypal even ...but yeah they have no good intentions asking you questions like that ...id say that this person probably was a scam artist ...and they target dating sites ...they're everywhere ...but myspace is safer now lol ...they left it and went to facebook to continue where they left off

I've challanged people to find me and no one can ever find my house. They've been able to find my server,but never my house and never my doorstep.

90% of your scammers will try to get you off the site as soon as possible in order not to get caught...Regardless what you do safety comes first....Never give out any information that makes you feel uncomftable...
