Says specifically THY GOD/YOUR GOD. We worship God the Father through Jesus. When we do Jesus' will we do the Father's will, for Jesus and the Father are one, they have the same will.

Satan do not worship God the Father though Jesus....which is why Jesus couldn't have been referring to himself...

Satan doesn't worship anyone but himself, thus the reason Jesus told him as such. Weather Satan listened or not is irrelevant.

I feel the presence of God all the time, God does not forsake anyone. And no it's not because I don't love God enough, it's because I get weak, my resistence to sin gets weak.

Why so much of the personal attacking and making a general discussion a personal discussion?

as they say in court...you are the one that "opened the door" to this line of questioning when you claim that God lives inside you

and if God is inside you...then how could you possibly sin unless you do not Love God enough not to sin

perhaps you should refrain from claiming that God lives inside you if you can't stop sinning

Jesus can not tell Satan to worship him and place himself above the Father ...it's that simple...you claiming otherwise only proves it's not Christianity but Cowboy-anity

Jesus is one with the father. No one's above the other. Worshipping Jesus is worshipping God the Father, as they are one.

Sometimes I listen to God, sometimes I listen to the flesh. Not because I love the flesh more then God, just that I get weak at occassions.

funches, is there a point you are trying to make, or are you only laying traps so that you can persecute another's beliefs?

What do YOU believe?

Would you care to stand on Judgement Day and defend your intentions in this conversation?

Does the end justify the means?

Is it acceptable to sin in the act of ministering to someone, if the result is that they are converted to your belief and their soul is "saved"?

This is America and we have the right to believe in whatever we wish to believe in, however your right to swing your fist in the air, ends at the tip of my nose.

if I was laying traps to persecute beliefs...I would lay them using parables

What do YOU believe?

"to believe is to doubt"....funches3:16

damn real...oops I mean of course...for all you know God sent me here or I could be God

Does the end justify the means?;

isn't that Faith

let's ask the children that those priests molested if it is acceptable to sin in the act of ministering

no one has to use their fist to make you feel the effect of being punched in the nose....

that's what this thread is about....that due to what someone believes, their beliefs can inject an ideaology into society that can do far more damage than a nose punch

Do what? Jesus is OUR God, thus we worship Jesus. You keep reducing Jesus to just being a brother or a fellow man. Jesus is our God, he is whom created us.

..wow you guys are still going at it? :O

We got 73 degree weather here. I went outside, played some b-ball, met up with a friend and all..

..anyway..

It's not that.

God, or so I'm told, doesn't hold any part in your choices/decisions to uphold your aspect of "free will".

If he did, when he's "inside you" you wouldn't sin ever because he'd be holding you back; however, God does NOT refrain you, in anyway, from using your free will.
