people who approach you but never post in forum ever ever ever??? I never know what to say to people who don't post. I find it out that out of nowhere, they see a picture and usually don't even read my blurb and then say they like me. What are your thoughts?
P.S. I used to have a quite lengthy profile where I explained that I did the Terri Remix of Religions and did not want children, etc. and it made no difference, I got more men looking for a "good Christian woman to start a family with". I told one guy that was called an "idiot hit" and he got me banned temporarily. I said it nicely but this guy wrote me with an obvious hot key script or cut and paste that was contrary to everything I said in my profile. THEN he wrote me a total obscene cuss out message for saying that when I got unblocked and came back!! And he was looking for "a good woman". Err....how about being a good man??? I find it very odd when I am friends with soooooooooooooo many good Christian women on here who want children. Why the heck are they writing me and not them????? |

II have big bold letters right at the start of my profile to not email me from other countries, I'm not interested. I still get constant foreign emails.
I don't really mind people who don't post in the forums much. It depends. Some people just aren't very social lol if they can hold a decent conversation, start with a decent email, something other than "hey hot lips" then I might talk with them |

I don't see why you can't trust, or at least chat with people who don't post in the forums. I bet most of the people who use this site don't use the forums. Why ignore them simply because they don't use the forums?

as a general rule : I trust until given REASON not to
and I give respect automatically unless something is done to LOSE that respect I know people generally either expect trust and respect to be earned or they give it automatically,,,,IM the latter,,, |

Sometimes silence is golden. However, silence is fool's gold if one joins Mingle2 and then does not participate in the forums. I get a laugh out the OPs in the introduction forum. Men are constantly writing OPs that say "Here I am, Ladies; talk to me." What narcissism!

I am not sure all forums are for everyone but someone who comes in here and can never find anything to participate in would seem like someone that would get to be a real effort to be around because you would have to do all the work to communicate.

people who approach you but never post in forum ever ever ever??? When I get those, they are always either a.) obvious scammers or b.) one-word messages like "Hi" or "Hello." I don't respond to them either way. I would reply to the not-quite-obviously-scammers if they wrote something relevant, something more than one word, but that never happens. I find it out that out of nowhere, they see a picture and usually don't even read my blurb and then say they like me. What are your thoughts? I get lots of e-mails saying they saw my profile and they think I'm interesting, and they're looking for a good man to settle down and start a family with. That's how I know they didn't actually read my profile. These almost always turn out to be scammers, and they've probably sent the exact same message to 2,488,943 other people. I got more men looking for a "good Christian woman to start a family with". Same here, and I think I've bludgeoned the world with my "No Kids" policy long enough that anybody who doesn't get it is either blind or on serious medication. I find it very odd when I am friends with soooooooooooooo many good Christian women on here who want children. Why the heck are they writing me and not them????? One of the incomprehensible mysteries of life -- why go after after a guy with an immutable "No Kids" policy and try to change him, when there are 2,927,552 men on here who are totally OK with kids? I'll never understand people.... |

I've been a member here a long time, but more recently only followed forums instead of posting. I've just had a lot less time. I suppose then guys might think I was not talkative enough to communicate with... haven't really thought about that lately though.
