I have one I've been on and off with for the last 12 years, and frankly I'm getting tired of it. But she is so smart and creative and funny and....she even did the covers and page formatting for my first two books. But she just can't stick to a commitment, and that's a problem....

As for my other exes, I'd just as soon throw all of them into an active volcano. And I'm quite sure they'd say the same about me!

A HELLS naw, been there, OVER it, tired of the games.

Ironically, most of my ex's have made an attempt to get back with me. I guess they found out the grass is not greener on the other side. But my stance was always, "Sorry, but we ended it for a reason and we are better as friends."

But as people have said countless times, ex's are ex's for a reason! If you found you are incompatible when you were together, you likely will still be incompatible if you take them back.

Exception would be if it was a bad situation at the time but you really were head over heels. I have a friend who had a hard time with his ex thanks to their schedules and living situations, but they got back together and are now happily married.

no.coz men leave their women only under extreme n unbearable situations when there is no other alternative.if there had been any such possibility she had not been my ex at all coz for me leaving my ex was a painful compulsion n for her a choice for better lyfe , independence n freedom.

Well, my ex- spent 6 months in jail because she shot the man she was with. I still have the 1 1/2 inch scar that she put on my left arm.

I actually just got through a rerun of a relationship. It had been over 20 years and he e-mailed me out of the blue. He had changed a lot and I was very hopeful. But--turned out he hadn't changed in the commitment department. Either that, or he never really loved me in the first place. At least this time it didn't feel like a knife stabbing me in the gut.

Twice burned, permanently shy of him now. Some things are not meant to be.
