I would like to hear you're opinions on what makes a man a man,
we all know the stereotyped version. Ruff and rugged never cries
only thinks with the little head in his pants.

We all know men do cry and that in a lot of ways women are a lot tougher then us so,,,,,

What man like qualities do you find important for a man to have,
and is it important for a man to meet that stereotype.

I use my Dad as my example of what I should be....

Strong, capable, independant, good natured, careing, giving, thoughtful, sincere, dumb as schitt some days, loving, hard working, and very faithful.

Always the shoulder to lean on. The encouraging word. The silent act of just doing the right thing at the right time....whether it is drying a tear, or kissing an owwie...or going to work or war for your loved ones....

Real men stand out as men among men

I love men who can be honest, and a man of his word. That tells me that I can depend on and trust him. Even if he can't fulfill what he said he'd do, at least I'd want him to be honest about it and not just try and make excuses. I like a man who's open, and who doesn't feel like it's a weakness to confide in his woman. Just of couple of things I like in men.

lol I do not make it a habit of putting my hand in to strangers pants,
so if it was left to that I may make a few mistakes lmfao.

I meant more personality traits then physical though.

Some women have those too though...

Aye because DNA is a spectrum and not a line.

Yet in the broadest range of that spectrum men have hair where women have but folicles.

I also believe a man should cultivate a beard.

God gave it to me.

I wear it proudly.

This thing about the way a man carries himself actually matters a lot to me. I admit I'm not going to be attracted to someone who's way overweight or just plain homely. But a man who is kind of plain, but carries himself with confidence and looks people in the eye, really stands out in a crowd.

I guess for me a real man is someone who can be himself.

I come from a family that is full of macho men and although they are great, but the uncle who I thought was the best and always wanted to marry someone like, was gentle and caring, he laughed and loved easily.

So to me a man is just someone who can be himself. It doesnt really matter if he is macho or gentle, or a mixture of both. Just being man enough to be himself, to me is being a real man.
