What's the most desperate thing you've ever seen? What do you think is desperate?

Expecting a man to be at your beck and call.

Hmmm, one ah these days........

If I met the right woman, I would be happy to be at her beck and call.

I couldn't possibly tell you - most people on here would not be able to assimilate the descriptions and I don't want to relive the moments - but I have seen some pretty hard core desperation....including some of my own. but I was the fortunate one

a spouse knowingly taking care of their spouses children from an affair, while the cheating spouse goes out looking for yet a new date,,,,,


trying to sue someone to show proof of citizenship because the official GOVERNMENT documents and statements arent 'reliable' enough

trying to insist the constitution meant to only permit those born from TWO us citizens to be president(here or abroad, as opposed to abroad as it specifiically says)


trying to impeach a president for engaging in the same unfaithful behavior over half the population of america does and probably even a higher percentage of the colleagues attempting to impeach are,,,

(That one may be listed under both hypocrisy and desperation)

I always thought that anyone born on US soil (including military and diplomatic installations) was considered a natural born citizen - but it IS true that the President MUST be a natural born citizen

and if there is reasonable doubt it is only responsible to investigate AD Mr Obama should be cooperating with any and all investigations.

I've taken a wait & see attitude - this is going be a lengthy legal finding I believe

although I agree, I dont believe 'cooperation' can only be done through personal physical appearances and being there have been about 32 suits so far, it would be an unfair expectation for him to appear at them all, especially when they are all being tossed out,,,,

Desperate is when you do something you wouldn't normally do (against your better judgement) in hopes to get the end result you wish for desperately.
The most desperate thing I have ever encountered was a woman jumping into a lake when a child was drowning when she herself didn't know how to swim.

Myself, I've done some desperate things in my life. There's different levels of desperation, it can be anything from that impulsive urge to buy a candy bar at the check out counter, addiction, even suicide, and other extremes. This topic is too broad for a short and simple answer.

what happened?

This is more devotion than a desperate act.

I was there. When I seen it going down.. I ran and leaped in after. Child was ok.. scared of course. The woman was taken to a hospital and do not know what became of her.

It could go either way. It depends on the circumstances.

So I'd have to say... Waking up tomorrow morning.

If he's a good friend of mine I could see it on a great path.

but, I forgot all about the bachelor/bachelorette series ,,that is desperate too, although I think there are exceptions when it worked
