Topic: If you're interested in someone...

No offense, I over react because part of my job is to teach social skills to people with mental health issues. I took some gay men to a party at a gay community center- I got free drinks and three offers and I am not gay, I was so mad at my clients hiding in the corners. Damn it! I am a genius if they just follow my advice and instruction! Maybe I am really mad at myself cuz I failed them.

do you do anything about it? It can be here or in real life. How many of you would actually ask someone out that you are interested in? Or even at least let the person know you're interested? I say if you're interested in someone, ask them out. The worst thing they can say is no. There is no reason you should sit idly by while they don't know you like them. Even if you only ask them out for coffee, let them know how you feel and where you stand. While you're sitting there waiting for them to figure it out, anyone else can come in and take away your chance just by asking 1 simple question. "Would you like to go out sometime and get to know each other?" Chances are, they would at least get to know you. From there it's up to you to be yourself and let them see what they could have in their life. If they aren't interested at that point, 1.) At least you tried, 2.) If they weren't into you, maybe you are better off without them. 3.) Maybe once you got to know them better, maybe they weren't really what you were looking for, but you can add it to your list of experiences.

I would never make the first move, id probably die of shame if they knocked me back So what do you do? Hope they figure out you're interested? How do you let them know? Id rather be chased than do the chasing.. If it's on here, If someone nudges/emails me then id do the same back if I'm interested... In real life....If a guy shows interest in me well then id make it pretty obvious if I was interested in him... If you're friends with a guy already though, it's VERY hard to tell if he is just being friendly or if he actually likes you..
