If you had to paint your entire house inside and out with one color (excluding white) what color would you choose?

Actually, white is the combination of all color. Black is the absence of color.

It depends upon which way you are talking about. In chemistry, black is a color, white is usually not, since any artist can show this with some simple techniques. But the case can be made that white is indeed a color when examining the pigment chemistry.

And I would go black, or navy blue for my home. I like dark colors.

we are talking about the spectrum

In the spectrum black is not a color, white is. A combination of all colors is still a color by definition.

Actually no colors can be mixed to create white. White is the absence of color by definition, however.. white is a color it reflects all the colors of the visible light spectrum to the eyes.

Black is not a color, because a black object absorbs all colors of the visible spectrum and reflects none of them to the eyes.

(Well that's pretty much what Kartagane said, but I apparently like to be redundant.)

That being said, if I had to choose a color it would more than likely be sky blue.

I've decided I want polka-dots just to aggravate my neighbors.

Chartreuse & Lavender sounds good.

Mixing paint is different from seeing light. You SEE the house color. White is the combination of all colors (like the Sun). Black is the absence of any color (like deep space).
