Whether its getting that assignment done or asking that pretty girl to the freshmen homecoming dance, why does the younger generation (or human kind overall) have a torturous fetish with waiting to the last minute and screwing ourselves over repeatedly??

I'll have to answer you in a couple of days as I've been putting off doing the dishes, laundry, sharpening the pencils and...
I hope you understand.

Never put off today what you can wait and put off tomorrow.

I think that procrastination is a religious issue as there are places like Limbo and Purgatory. It is like you have all eternity to wind up somewhere so whats your big hurry.laugh

There was this young guy who was walking to the next town. The old guy told him that he was walking the wrong way to get there. The young guy said that the earth was round and for the old guy not to worry about it as he would get there.laugh

Often times our imagination makes us dread something to a greater degree than the reality of that thing should actually be dreaded. We know this intellectually but the anticipation of the thing is worse than the thing itself.

If by that measure procrastination occurs then we really just enjoy making ourselves miserable.

For myself I think I procrastinate becuase I can find things I really enjoy doing more and the things I enjoy to do less are not going to blow up in my face for not doing them.

Oy vie that reminds me I need to get new tires and new brakes!
