"The Faces Of Death Video" series show actual executions and are those tapes real or fake?

Has anyone seen a real execution?

I feel if someone is executed, it should be shown on television, as warning to others. We ae the only country that is so weak in executing criminals and look at China and they just executed an offical for selling something to a corporation and it turned out to harm people and he was tried and shot for it.

I feel our laws are two easy and we need to bring back the old days and start cleaning out all of our death houses.

i'm for it but michigan doesn't offer it as a punishment. i haven't seen anyone "executed" but i've seen people die violently.

interesting about showing them on t.v. but alot of people can't handle seeing someone die.

I agree with it in certain cases yes...With in disputable proof...Canada outlawed the death penalty a long time ago and life in prison doesn't even mean life... in 7,10, or 25 years you are eligible for parole...BUT you are on parole for life...Doesn't make much sense to me!!!!!!!!!

If you had to be executed, what method would you choose? You have a choice of the : fring squard, the chir, gas, or lethal injection.

Be hold, their is good news on the horizon:" you get a final meal and you can order what you want and all you can eat and you don't have to worry about calories or weigh gain.

My meal would be Lobster/steak/french fries/onion rings/a cheese burger, hold the onions, a piece of apple pie and a hot cup of tea.

I would like to be shot and my meal? Why eat food when I'm gonna be dead? Screw the food, just shoot me.

me? I would probably choose lethal injection, just go to sleep and never wake up again. But Iwould want one last night with a beautiful woman (and yes that would be my last meal as well )

Back to the original question however, I am absolutely against any form of capitol punishment, period. I have nothing against someone being killed in defense, but not as punishment.

im for it!!! eye for an eye yes california treats our deathrow inmates like their some kind of kings. now texas, they dont f&ck around. california gives them many luxuries. ive seen someone get executed in the electric chair on one of those movies called faces of death. remember those?? blood squirting out of the mouth and eye sockets. pretty dam cool!!!!

Regardless of people's opinions about the appropriateness or effectiveness of capital punishment, I think this is disturbing.

I don't think televising executions would increase the deterrent effect of executions. There are too many sickos who would -want- to die, simply to have their executions televised.

I am NOT in favor of the death penalty under ANY circumstances .... most who are in favor refer to eye for an eye but who says we are the one to enforce this ? Shouldnt you who believe in God have FAITH in God to deal this out instead of taking this into your own hands . What about thou shalt not kill ?
