I was glad Distrowatch.com came back up, today. Yesterday, the site just said, "Stop American Censorship". A large number of international sites see this for what it is. Comparisons with China are appropriate. The Chinese people don't get to protect themselves from tyrannical censorship laws with the power of the vote - Americans, in theory, do. And yet we have Americans who would defend this legislation, and willful embrace Chinese-style internet censorship. |
