I'm sure all the conservatives will be on me so fast about this I can almost feel the talk-spit already. Yes I am a moderate Democrat!(I consider myself a Paul Wellstone Dem.) Yes I have a job. Yes I can think for myself. Yes I am white, and Yes I am American born.
I also believe that government is here, and obligated to do those things that we as individual Americans cannot, or will/would not do for ourselves and each other, and no more.

At this time I don't believe there is a GOP candidate out there that is presidential material.

Insults and sarcasm will not change my mind so if you think you have a valid arguement, for or against, go for it!

WHO DO YOU THINK IS BETTER???

I will not slight your beliefs, only your reasonings when what you support is the destruction of the constitution and bill of rights, the freedoms and liberties of the people, I fought to defend.

These are a simple matter of research by looking at the BO legacy of constitutional destruction and rights deprivatiopn on the American people.

To each his own.... be careful what you wish for, and 4 more of the same....I hope you like being poor and enslaved under banker rule with NO rights.....

Can't take the Kenyan remark....

I know, its really hard to believe his own Grandmother who was present at his birth in Kenya.

There's a huge sign in his home town, it says President Obama born here. The Kenyans know the truth....

Adam Serwer over at MotherJones explains it clearly,

The administration had said that the military detention provisions of an earlier version of the NDAA were “inconsistent with the fundamental American principle that our military does not patrol our streets.”

The revised NDAA is still inconsistent with that fundamental American principle. But the administration has decided that fundamental American principles aren’t actually worth vetoing the bill over.
On one hand the administration claims that it’s opposed to the bill to keep it’s progressive constituency at bay all the while planning to sign it anyway.

It should be noted that the Obama administration’s attacks on the civil liberties of Americans far outweigh those of the Bush administration’s. While George W. Bush only took away your 4th Amendment rights via the USA PATRIOT Act, the Obama administration has extended the USA PATRIOT Act and now repealed your 5th and 6th Amendment rights through the NDAA. You can also say goodbye to The Posse Comitatus Act, which makes it illegal for the military to stroll around the streets of suburbia and arrest people at will.

Civil rights organizations like the ACLU have come to the realization that Obama’s actions are historically some of the most dangerous and tyrannical. Laura W. Murphy of the ACLU’s Washington office, in a press release stated,

If President Obama signs this bill, it will damage both his legacy and American’s reputation for upholding the rule of law. The last time Congress passed indefinite detention legislation was during the McCarthy era and President Truman had the courage to veto that bill. We hope that the president will consider the long view of history before codifying indefinite detention without charge or trial.
*****************

This is taking America in the right direction? Good leadership? Constitutional freedom? Protection?

Sorry....if it looks like tyranny, reads like tyrany, is enforced like tyranny.....IT'S TYRANNY!

I did volunteer work for Obama last election I went door to door in a 99% white community and endured many insults and door slams.

The big issues with the folks that did talk was healthcare and its cost and the war Bush lead us into in Iraq.

Obama won this county by a slim margin by the way.

I wont go all out again for Obama simply because he continued and enhanced the Bush era crimes and failed to hold anyone responsible the lies that led to the Iraq war.

I remember we had a conference call with an ohio senator and we all had the oppertunity to ask him a quistion I think his name was Sherrod Brown The quistion I asked him was ( Do you think the Bush administration could be prosecuted or at least investigated for war crimes due to the lies that led to the Iraq war?)

Keep in mind we had just watched Iraq for sale at the county democratic headqourters and had a mix and mingle.

Iraq For Sale

A documentary on the privatisation of the Iraq war and the problems such policies have led to not least of all the creation of the militrary industrial complex. watch it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Zt9BZD7mlc

My quistion had the group of volunteers cheering and the senator sqwirming. He didnt realy give an answer.

So vote for Obama. Or don't vote. It makes no difference either way. Voting is like praying to God. It doesn't hurt, and it doesnt do any good.

Freedoms and liberties are like water.... we take it for granted. We flush our toilets, take long showers, but the truth is, water is the NEXT OIL!

You don't miss something taken for granted until it is gone and/or unrenewable!

I shudder when I see these actions by our government! I am almost to tears to see people KNOWINGLY watch these actions and excuse them as acceptable or nessessary! UNBELIEVABLE! THESE ARE YOUR RIGHTS THEY ARE DESTROYING!!

Think water isn't a problem? Google "Flow" the movie.

Voting does make a difference..sometimes. I think they should get rid of the electoral vote my self.

For the record, I detest Obama and for the sake of our country he better not get re-elected!!

Here are some keywords to keep in mind;

Healthcare Reform

Cap & Trade Treaty

Fast & Furious

Gitmo

Libya

Super Congress

Claiming he would pull the troops out instead of the surge of troops into Afganistan.

One of his main points during his campaign: Transparency
He has quietly done a lot of negative work and has NOT been "transparent".

These are just some of the reasons why he should not get elected agin. Many would say it should get impeached.

I am voting for Ron Paul for president in 2012, he is the CHANGE my country, the United States, needs.

By the way, my pet peeve...call it the U.S. or the United States or the USA, do not call it "America" . I am a U.S. citizen, it is much clearer than saying American. Just my opinion.

Every democrat who wins proves a disappointing imitation of the Republicans his supporters were supposedly voting against especialy on the major issues we will not get change at the ballot box.

The system is broken totaly.

Ron Paul will have no impact against the vested interests that run this country. Neither will Obama.

The only glimmer of hope I see is the 99% movement.

If you think the Arab spring was bad wait till you see this country when the mass of sheeple finaly wake up. They are not stockpileing all those non lethal crowd control toys for nothing.

Things cannot be fixed by an election its a false promise.

Support the 99% its our best chance at reform

Obama sounds reasonable and he is very literate and a good speaker.

But he is increasing our national debt, and going along with the elite's plan to rob us of our constitutional rights.

It might not even be his fault. After all, most politicians are simply puppets born and bread and trained to do the bidding of the elite and sweet talk the dumbed down public. I voted for Obama.

I think Obama is probably a very nice person, but I don't think he has a lot of control of this government.

When was the last time we actually had a politician who speaks for the people? A long time.

I think Ron Paul does the best job of that right now.

I really cannot.

There is no honor in taking other's money for one's pet projects.

I see the 99%ers as spoiled children who want something for free whilest they play Angry Birds. They do not value the primary reason the United States of America is successful: Individual determination.

They fail to see that for every Free-Bee they demand, it only makes them less free and more enslaved to the Government whom they claim to dislike.

IMHO, 99% = DumChits

The days of fixed elections are over. The elite don't need to fix elections anymore. They have so much of a grip on our politicians and congress that it matters not to them who is the president.

So it doesn't really matter to me either.

This is true. The more dependent you are on government hand outs the more control they have on you.

It will be hard to be really free in this country unless you can grow your own food, make your own electricity, etc. The huge corporations have most of the control of our food, our power, our gas, everything.

Soon they will completely be able to call all the shots. Do as we say or else we will take these things away from you.

The system is not only broken in America it is broken worldwide.

There is a New World Order Coming but we are not being informed about the way it is going to work.

There is one thing that I am sure of and that is.....

Political Left or Right is not where it's at anymore.

All we are left with is Right and Wrong and the sooner we all agree on that the sooner the world will be a better place for all to live in.
