Voting does make a difference..sometimes. I think they should get rid of the electoral vote my self.

For the record, I detest Obama and for the sake of our country he better not get re-elected!!

Here are some keywords to keep in mind;

Healthcare Reform

Cap & Trade Treaty

Fast & Furious

Gitmo

Libya

Super Congress

Claiming he would pull the troops out instead of the surge of troops into Afganistan.

One of his main points during his campaign: Transparency
He has quietly done a lot of negative work and has NOT been "transparent".

These are just some of the reasons why he should not get elected agin. Many would say it should get impeached.

I am voting for Ron Paul for president in 2012, he is the CHANGE my country, the United States, needs.

By the way, my pet peeve...call it the U.S. or the United States or the USA, do not call it "America" . I am a U.S. citizen, it is much clearer than saying American. Just my opinion.

You left out the mess with letting Iran get a key piece of classified military technology and not even lifting a finger to do anything about it.

Also letting the crimes against humanity continue in Syria and not doing more to hold Iran accountable for the numerous reasons he should.

Are we suppose to be the World's Police? I do not want to be nor does Ron Paul. I'm not happy that Iran got one of our drones. If Obama continues being president we will have drones flying over our heads everywhere in the United States. Ever heard of Big Brother? Maybe you should read George Orwell's 1984 cause we are certainly headed that way!!

Why on Earth would you ever consider voting for Obama again, that is insanity to me!!

Have you read the key issues in the Healthcare Reform Bill? That alone will be a huge downfall to our country. Do you honestly think the budget won't run out on that? Do you realize that you will pay for health services in real time eletronic billing? What happens to those people who can't pay in real time? Do you realize that medical doctors are taking early leave and moving out of the United States to practice in other countries or settling for early retirement? They are NOT bringing their employees with them!! Do you think that procedures that save lives won't be rationed? Learn before you speak and vote please!! I will be a criminal because I don't have medical insurance, I guess with the NDAA bill in effect they can detain me and throw away the key!!!

There are many issues that need to get repealed ASAP when Ron Paul comes into office, IF he comes into office.

Ummmmmm, I would only consider voting for Obama again if Ron Paul or Mitt Romney get the nomination. Ron Paul's lunacy and foreign policy is nuts and just plain dangerous and Mitt Romney is more Liberal then Obama and Ron Paul put together.

I do recall from past posts of yours that u think Paul is a lunatic which I disagree with but you should state why you believe he is.

I have stated several times why I think he is. He is like the crazy uncle you don't even introduce to your wife until after the 3rd or 4th kid.........laugh

If that is the only way you want to state your feelings then I will go with it and say that he is like my favorite Uncle that I admire and can learn things from. He doesn't Flip-Flop and I know where he stands. He is the wisest one and does things for the greater good.

I honestly think the budget wont run out on the healthcare reform.

there are many doctors who support and many who dont support the reform, thats life

we are oversaturated with doctors and lawyers in this country, and I imagine plenty of them are already and have already relocated for work

procedures that save lives are already rationed with the private insurance industry,, they have number crunchers who make those decisions about peoples lives DAILY

page 151 of the bill
'‘‘(A) WAIVER OF CRIMINAL PENALTIES.—In the case of
any failure by a taxpayer to timely pay any penalty imposed
by this section, such taxpayer shall not be subject to
any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such
failure"

nothing in the bill mandates real time electronic payments,,,,

It doesn't matter who wins because the state is bigger than the people.

The state plays these games telling the people that they have a say, when in reality, each candidate represents the state.

The world economy is on the brink and the clowns go on the state media and argue over $40.

Look kids.. the circus is in town.. OOOhhhh Ahhhhhh

The shiny lights are so pretty..

How do you define the state?

Is the state simply an extension of the 1% elite or working against them?

Its my observation that the state and the media and the economic elites are all lined up on the same side.

We have no checks and ballance and that is a source of our economic missary.

The state is any and all facets of federal governmental operations.

Anyone that wants the status quo or expanded federal governmental operations is part of the state apparatus.

I think its a pretty reasonable system that isnt being implemented properly

we have more people, we are a gluttonous society with far too much of what we dont need while we complain about all the things we do

we will have to tilt one side or the other, and give up some of the 'luxuries' to do more about taking care of the 'needs'

I would vote for raising taxes, I would vote for incentives to employers to create jobs for and hire americans

I would vote for stricter penalties on companies that utilized undocumented workers

Id vote for clean energy sources to make us more competitive and help the environment remain less dangerous

I would vote for better civics classes and education in general so that our kids can not only compete to make a living in this world but can understand how government TRULY works so we can maybe cut back on how many pundits repeat inaccurate conclusions and information,,,,

Its not implemented correctly because the system has become so corrupted that unless you have an army of lawyers and lobbyists you can't get a thing done..

I like your point on education, but it is the state that decides what the students will be taught.. They provide the teachers and the books..

The only way it changes is to get the state out of the decision making.. and that ain't gonna happen..

We need to fix the state who in the heck do you expect to make decisions on a national level?

The trouble is the government is now run by and for the 1% its not by the people for the people.

Take the money influence out of elections and the problemb will fix itself.

Expanding the role of the state like the OWS people want isn't the answer either.. I hate to break that to you..

The government has a role and it doesn't do it. It does things based on what benefits them.

No one can say that the elected officials do anything other than what benefits their re election campaign cash coffers or the prospects for 7 figure jobs once they are done..

Hell yes Mr Conrad the money game is one we are forced to play to attempt to keep the playing field level.

Without the money donations what one percenter could ever get elected by a majority?

The unions have far far less money than the business and defence industry lobbyists what labor has is dedicated people who will work the campaigns and go door to door and hand out literature money is something that is hard to come by for the working man.

The donkeys and elephants have combined to create this economic crisis along with the economic crisis in europe. So whomever becomes our next president or gets reelected is going to step in even deeper S h i t.

The President has many powers, great and small.

The gov't is supposed to be a ruling body, but acting on the peoples interests, NOT WALL STREET!

Therein lays the problem. Power corrupts completely! The bankers (FED) has the power!

Throughout our early history our forefathers fought the central bank...and those who did, died, or assassinations were attempted... some think that is coincidental.... but it is FACT!

Today it is a passing statement or a conspiracy theory we tell, or light conversation as the memory (and our great history) fades. JFK fought the bank with his Executive Order 11110, months later....we know the story.

The President CAN make changes without congressional approval (the NDAA, Patriot Act and many others laws/bills they passed makes it so) and can be turned against them by their own works!

It is only a beginning! We need a President who has the cajones to stand against them and try!

There is an old warhorse who has been doing that for 30 years, now a front runner in this election, and they are scared to death he may succeed! RP has BIG ONES! It's not a fight any of the others will take up, but a war veteran who swore to defend his country against all enemies, both foreign AND domestic... RP HAS MY VOTE! drinker

You seem to love to argue what I type. You have stated your opinion in regards to several points including the doctors. I guess you have not waited months for an appointment when your life or a loved one's life is in danger? I have waited and it will only get worse with this Healthcare.

We are NOT oversaturated with doctors in any way in this country. Specialists can take months for an appt. My friend's sister discovered a lump in August, she just got her first surgery approx 2 weeks ago,mid December, is it cancer and grew to the size of an apple by the time she got operated on. She is WAITING for her second surgery now.

I will not do your homework for you. I had a copy of the bill and yes, it does state real time electronic payments. The people who read this can look it up themselves. I did quickly find the following but it may have moved since the bill has been revised.

Pg 58HC Bill - Govt will have real-time access 2 individs finances & a National ID Healthcard will b issued!
Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Govt will have direct access 2 ur banks accts 4 elect. funds transfer

If I am not a criminal, it will not matter once the president signs the NDAA bill, I can be held indefinitely anyway with no trial!!
