>Support the 99% its our best chance at reform

I really cannot.

There is no honor in taking other's money for one's pet projects.

I see the 99%ers as spoiled children who want something for free whilest they play Angry Birds. They do not value the primary reason the United States of America is successful: Individual determination.

They fail to see that for every Free-Bee they demand, it only makes them less free and more enslaved to the Government whom they claim to dislike.

IMHO, 99% = DumChits

I have no idea how to respond to this bag of propaganda.
Maybe logicly?
When do they play angry birds?
What free bee are they demanding?
What pet projects are you talking about?

We cant all be Luddites. The fact is we are a society someone has to educate the kids, plow the roads maintain food safety and worker safety etc etc.

I think we tried letting the free market work and we had kids working in coal mines at 7 or 8 years of age. (those kids were good for hauling those coal wagons out of the low ceiling mines cant deny that)

Taxes are a fact of life in a democratic society and the fact is the only entity that can stand up to the economic interests is the government the trouble is the governmnet is run by the vested economic interests to a far higher degree than in the past.

Somehow the only solution the govenment can bring to the table in terms of cutting down the defecit is cutting services to you and me the ones who fund it and make all things possible.

No we wont raise taxes on the rich who have managed to increase their wealth under thess horrific economic times.

We wont cut aid to other countries.

We wont work on renewable energy.

We will take your tax money and filter it to our defence contracters who in turn give us money to get re elected.

We will cut social security and medicare and food stamps and aid to single moms and educataion and libraries the list goes on and on.

I have just read that in the past ten years food and fuel costs have rose 43% did your pay keep up with inflation?

funny how you're describing Fascism!
What you described is neither Capitalism, nor Free-Market System!

Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power." Benito Mussolini

and the Ninetynine Percent leads to that what Benito said, simply because it gives Politicians the ultimate Power over the Economy, and those who are able to pay the biggest Bribes will get the best breaks!

We already have a socialistic graduated tax system. Large wage earners pay more, that is simply unfair.

Now if the Gov kept itself out of our business, it would run the Post Office, Protect OUR borders, and fix the damn roads.

None of this social engineering crap like in cali kiddies now have to learn how to spell LGBT, by Law... Yah, well spent tax dollars.

Currently the system is broken has been for a long time.

Food and fuel costs have increased in the last ten years by 43% what have your wages done?

All the while the top 1% have increased there share of income.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- From 1979 to 2007, average household income for the nation's top 1% more than tripled, while middle-class incomes grew by less than 40%, according to a new report from a research arm of Congress.

http://money.cnn.com/2011/10/26/news/economy/cbo_income/index.htm

So who wishes to cry about how unfair it is to raise taxes on the top 1%?

In real terms if your not a 1% your paying 43% more to live in terms of food and fuel than you did ten years ago thats almost like haveing half the purchaseing power you once did unless your wage increased 43% in the past ten years.

>All the while the top 1% have increased there share of income.

How did the Top get more $$$ if its just "their share"?

Income isn't to be shared, it's to be spent for one's personal/family enrichment.

I tell you truly, The United States of America didn't become a world power by "sharing".

Thats totaly absurd mr conrad. What we are talking about is the creation and shareing of wealth and the cost of liveing.

The Unions were created to help in the disparity if wealth.

Do you not find it interesting that Germany produces over twice as many cars as the US yet pays its workers far better and treats them far better and makes a profit?

It seems whenever someone mentions the wealth distribution in this country predictibly someone tries to blame the Unions the only agency that is their to help the working man.

In 2010, Germany produced more than 5.5 million automobiles; the U.S produced 2.7 million. At the same time, the average auto worker in Germany made $67.14 per hour in salary in benefits; the average one in the U.S. made $33.77 per hour. Yet Germany’s big three car companies—BMW, Daimler (Mercedes-Benz), and Volkswagen—are very profitable.

How can that be?
