A few months ago, I met someone on here whom I had really liked....we started talking on the phone and emailing and instant messaging each other everyday...he was so funny and we got a long so well and were always laughing...he started to plan a trip to come here to meet me...it was all good and he was looking forward to coming to see me...we got really close....well one day out of the blue..(a few weeks before he was to come here actually)he tells me that he met someone else on this site...so he wont be comng to meet me.....(he was talking to her the same time as me and lying to me about how he feels for me i guess)....
Well.. I found out later that he went to see her THAT weekend....and i never heard from him again...no sorry...no explanation....NADA....I was so HURT....pretty stupid of me...yah...
SO THAT IS WHY I GIVE UP ON FINDING ANYONE ON THIS SITE....I was ready to quit JSH until I started posting on the forums....so that is why I AM STILL HERE....for all you guys here on the forums.....so THANK YOU...just wanted to share...ok.. Im going to my corner now...ALOOOOOOOOOHAAAAA!!!

Hawaii, it hurts my heart everytime I hear a story like this.
People need to remember this is a long distance friends thing.
Odds are most of us will NEVER meet.
You should never put your heart out there till you meet.
Always keep an eye over your shoulder, have friends help ck him out.
There are many guys out there that will try to use you.
You have to allow them to get that close.
Questions, talk to some of the older folks here, seek their consul, we will help you learn what to look for.

Yah i agree with you old sage....but I thought that these sites were so people COULD meet....I know I have to be safe..that is true..but it would also be nice to actually have "love" come out of all this...lol

I know it's a bummer of a situation, but it seems to me you should be breathing a heavy sigh of relief. Now you see him for what he is really like - and haven't gone through the agony of having met him and this happening. Be patient though. I'm sure the right one is here - just have some fun while waiting for him.

I hear you on that for sure and it does happen more than most know. But yeah it is not the site but the ones on it. Myself only reason I stay is for the forums to post in and the poetry section to post my poems in and the many frends I have accuired since I have been here. If it was not for that I would have left a long time ago. As with me I always answer all my e-mails not that I get that many anymore. But instead of what happen to you what I have come up against is the guys that appeal to me. I don't appeal to them. But I know its not my personality or that I'm stuck up or don't talk. Sad but true mine is my weight ya alot will say size does not mean anything yeah right I was not born yesterday nor the day before. I have come to terms with it and I'm kewl with it. Just no longer trying. Cause I'm not gonna change what appeals to me. So I remain for thr friendships and posting in poetry mostly. But I do know how yo feel have had simlar happen to me also. Not saying all guys are like that but the major part of the guys all want a slim trim one instead. So for now just stayhing low
