"Im an african american female, Im cool with each of those adjectives as a way to give a heads up of where I have 'come from' and where I am at "

I am glad you added "from" after "where I have come".

If that were a topic, with no "from" added, I'd have to say bed, chair, March on Washington, movies, Russian teacher, Lily, Mary, Kimmy, Gina, Jill, Jane, Joe (just once!! Swear!!), Jo, Joan, Jean, mouth, mouth, mouth, handkerchief, etc. etc.

What do you think about a movement to abolish all categories we use to distinguish people from one another?

no more homosexual or heterosexual, as we dont really know if we should label this according to feelings or actions,,,,

no more female or male, as biological parts are apparently no longer an indicator of gender so much as how one 'feels' is,,,

no more races, as we are all just human

no more grown and child, as we all need to just learn from each other and not be given any authority over anyone but ourself,,,,

,,,do I have any followers for the human absolutionist movement?

It will never work. How would we know who to hate....?

pitchfork agree!

I think if that were possible; there would be peace on earth.

peace isnt an absence of classifications

peace is an ability to wish wellness for our neighbor and do no harm

Ms. Harmony,

I thought this might amuse you. I went to college the liliest white boy from SOUTH AFRICA. So he marked African American on his application and in his thick accent took them to task when they tried to change him to WHITE.

This would require also the abolishment of country ... no nationality, no homeland ... just earth. No American, no Australian, Canadian, African, Iranian....

No Religion ... no Christian, no Muslim, no Jew... no pagan, no druid...

Imagine indeed...

interesting idea - have you ever noticed in movies about aliens the more "evolved " species either all look pretty much alike - like Close Encounters, or they are a light or a spirit as in Starman

so apparently this evolution does consist of a being becoming their substance rather than their appearance

I think we could try your idea but as humans have a need to categorize, other categories would simply evolve from the "absolutionist rubble" to define us

Its hard to notice, but actually those identical-looking aliens have slightly different skull curvatures. On their planet, they are very prejudiced based on skull curvature. Of course you wouldn't see the flatskulls in the movie, as there is no way they would have been allowed to participate.

ego: the self especially as contrasted with another self or the world

absolutely, no shame in wanting to be aknowledged as 'myself' as opposed to some nameless, descriptionless, entity,,,,

or be confused for Hitler, or Ted Bundy, or any number of other individuals who are individually NOT ME.....and consequently DIFFERENT from me,,,,

"I'll come on you, wux", and he starts running away, screaming in delight, throwing off pieces off his clothing as he runs, while she is laughing histerically and giving chase.

I can only say that I am not on drugs because I never take street drugs or prescribed ones in amount other than what's prescribed for me, personally. But I am in a giddy mood today, in a very major way.

I may want to add that one day I wish to travel to Africa, and meet African Africans, and I'll be the only Hungarian Jewish Canadian American African in the tribe.
