I don't watch football except for the Super Bowl (sometimes)or a stray game.
I can get into it, understand the excitement, even played for a couple of years, but staying glued to anything like this for me would take away from my goals in life. This might seem strangle coming from a guy who has lived in Canton Ohio but true. I was on a grown up flag football team with a couple of pros and even lived in Ozzie Newsome's neighborhood for a short time. Sports are fascinating and anyone guy or gal who is into them I think have a great hobby. Now boxing back in the 90's well that's another story. |

I wouldn't miss a football game either. I just spent the last 4 hours watching two football games back to back. We become even more obsessed during playoff which is why I was watching the last 4 hours. You reminded me of a funny conversation I had with my old boss. He said the only reason I watched football was to watch the guy's butts. My response is yes especially when they huddle and I particularly like the tight ends. Tight ends is actually a position in football. I do like the little tight football and baseball pants, agreed |

So were you a Browns or Steelers fan? Or neither? Answer carefully now.... Ahhhhh.....boxing in the 90's.... I'll never forget the day a bunch of us got together for a party to watch the Holyfield-Tyson fight on pay-per-view when Holyfield lost part of his ear. That was a piece of history there..... |

Hey There!
I HATE FOOTBALL! I would MUCH rather spend my time with a woman than a bunch of guys trying to prove their manhood vicariously through the actions of others! |

I'm SLIGHTLY familiar with the Wu-Tang Clan (not exactly my type of music). I can't say that there was anybody remotely famous watching with me that night. Well, unless maybe if you keep up with the latest FBI's most wanted lists. |

I know men who do not like football or sports for that matter and they are not gay. I LOATHE and ABHOR sports - and I'm certainly not gay - out in the real world, I don't even like being friends with guys (and, no, I'm not a homophobe, either). |

Oh, Im a big fan of PLAYING sports to keep in shape and all that. Being part of a team, all good stuff. Mg, this is not the issue. The WATCHING of football is not going to yeild those benefits. Once you are a sports fan by watching games on tv, you are just like anyone who watches what they like on tv. Not so noble as being part of the health and community of 'athletics'. Great to have interests tho. I watch movies on tv, and shows I like. Im certainly not condemning tv. exactly I prefer to DO rather than watch. that is kinda the point I was trying to make before when I was saying that I have been an athlete most of my life so I have no need to live vicariously where sports are concerned |

There are apparently several men on here that don't like sports. Good idea for this thread, sweetest, as it brought all of them out.
