Ew. I'd never sit through a hunting show.

Nascar is boring, as is golf. I did go to grand prix this year in Baltimore, which was a bit more fun than watching car racing on tv, but even then, I was not into staying all day.

I actually like Hockey, so I'm happy to watch if it's the Caps. If it's another team, I'm not so interested. I have a few college teams I like as well, so I'm fine with watching college football or basketball as well. And even baseball if it's the Nats.

I enjoy watching football, basketball, hockey and some baseball...although baseball can get a bit boring, too.

Now going to a game is completely different. That is FUN. Sometimes I take my kids to the Jethawks games here. We haven't been to see a Dodger game in eons, but those used to be fun. Before all the gang members started going and assaulting everyone. ohwell

Going to games are a lot of fun! I have tickets to a couple Caps games coming up and will also be going to see some Maryland basketball games.

yes I offerred to take my ex boyfriend to a Phila Eagles game altho my dad said don't do it - because I wanted to make him happy

but he insisted he was going to wear his Bengals jersey so I said no and he insisted so I said deal's off then

he's a small town Ohio boy - he just did not understand that he could not do that. it could be dangerous - it is like wearing the wrong colors to the local biker bar

but yes, to your point of going to a game or a match I love that too! usually take in 2-3 basketball games, baseball games & a hockey game - (Wright State Raider, Dayton Dragons, Columbus Bluejackets) and looking to add a soccer game (Crew) sometime soon

My ex-husband was really into hunting and he'd watch the hunting channel and outdoor channel non-stop when he was home. Which was fine, but he wanted me to watch, too. Watching a hunting show is like watching a Nascar race. NOTHING happens. The hunter sits behind the tree whispering at you for an hour until BAM! he shoots Bambi's mom and it's all over yawn

I'd rather watch football. Or soccer or anything where at least something is going on. laugh

laugh ya - that's like my uncle who used to watch golf - good lord you can't even SEE THE BALL for heaven's sakenoway
flowers

Or the fishing channel!! frustrated

Yep, it was a Giants fan at the Dodger game here that ended up in a coma for several months. He'll probably never fully recover. Luckily, they finally caught the A-holes who did it.

Are you insane? I wouldn't miss a football game either. I just spent the last 4 hours watching two football games back to back.

I mean, I get you were trying to keep him safe, but he was an adult and if he was into a certain team, I can absolutely see why he'd want to wear the jersey. And while there are as*hole fans, you can't always stop people from supporting the team they like. Plus, I'm guessing the game was in Ohio, rather than PA? So why couldn't he wear his jersey?

I am glad you took my comment in the spirit it was meant. It's kind of funny as I dated a guy that didn't like football. He wanted to get romantic with me and I would say after the game dear. Yes, I am an obsessive football fan. I am sick; I need help!!!! laugh

Well, if it's anything like it is here in Los Angeles, she would have been in danger, too. People are crazy.

We become even more obsessed during playoff which is why I was watching the last 4 hours. You reminded me of a funny conversation I had with my old boss. He said the only reason I watched football was to watch the guy's butts. My response is yes especially when they huddle and I particularly like the tight ends. Tight ends is actually a position in football. rofl
